remember my question was generally just a “what are different ways to go about solving picture puzzles”not really asking people to solve it for me or giving me the specific way of doing so.
it appears that i might need a program i dont have to solve one of them.
SGI didn’t intend to solve or provide anything useful. The 2 caches were done by 2 different accounts and I just thought it was interesting that they shared something in common. I have no idea if that plays into the solution or not, I just happened to notice it.

these are the 2 i am referring to
they seem similar just wondering if they use the same solve method and what kind that would be.GC1TC3T GC1VY8K
Well interesting … In the first cache listed the three trees (1/3 up and 1/3 way from the right) appear to be the same trees as in the upper left picture in the second cache.
Another option to get it into Excel would be to use the GSAK Export to Excel functionality. I’ve done this and used similar equations to convert the format. Obviously you need GSAK to do this.
I took a quick look last night and I have mixed opinions. As a parent – this seems like a nice tool to keep track of your kids. The flip side – Is big brother watching me?
Welcome aboard. It’s always great to see more participants promoting the sport.

Maybe – This is close to home, but I “got permission” to go to Marc’s event this week. Hopefully I can talk my way into this one. I’ll have to be on good behavior. 😆 😆 😆
I’m officially out for this one. 🙁
But not because of bad behavior. I got asked to help out at my nieces birthday party being held at the karate school. I’m too young at heart to pass this one up.@greyhounder wrote:
I do not want to be called a Judas Priest
I think you mean Judas Iscariot, not Judas Priest (although I may be incorrect)…
Oh no! 😯 Don’t give S|S any more ideas. I’m still not done with the Real Gone series and now we’ve introduced a whole nother option. 😆 😆

Logged in earlier on one PC and then later on the other and was not prompted to re-enter any password info.
I have experienced this in the past though and have never been able to figure out why though. I’ll pay more attention going forward though to see what happens.

A large ammo can primed and camo’d and filled to the brim with swag including a GPSr and a camera and no place to put it?
Did I read this right? SWAG includes a GPSr and camera? That’s great SWAG, but how do you “truthfully” trade equal or better for these?

anyone have a PQ of Appleton area, dont need puzzle caches, Just in case PQ’s are still down tomorrow?
I can run it thru GSAK and filter out my finds
Sent you an email at the address listed on the event page. PQ is from 9/30/09 but better than nothing.
Reading the explanations from SL and GR definately make sense now that I think about it. Thanks for clarifying.

Refresh my memory on the Challenge cache guidelines…
If you require specific caches to be found (like in “How Hungry”), then it can’t be done.
If you require certain types of finds or find combinations to be completed, but cachers are allowed choice/leeway as to which caches they find to meet the requirements, this is OK.
Is this it or no?
If this is true, than is a puzzle which requires you to complete others to get key values is still OK. Is this a technicality in the difference between a “challenge” and “plain puzzle”?

This a little familiar. My dad got a GPSr for Christmas and he’s going to start caching. He’s coming over tomorrow night so we can get him all setup with maps / caches. Then next week he’s going to be on his own – IN ARIZONA.
