I’ve done a majority of my few caches in the Kettle Morraine area. I would have to agree that the area is amazing. You must also check out the Pain in the Cache series. They may be hard, but they are a lot of fun. The Navigation part of the series took my gf and I a good part of the day, and I came out with a tick, but it was extremely satisfying. In addition, this series has proved to be a workout. These caches definitely have my recommendation.
One reason that people might not be finding the Hairway to Steven cache is because it is for premium members only. I’m not quite sure the reasoning behind making it a member only cache, but it has deterred me, a new geocacher, from attempting the cache. I would think that if someone wants to have an active cache, it has to be open to the public.
