7000 finds is mind boggling. Way to go for sure.

Pretty soon you will have everything within ???? miles of GZ in the bag. Looks like the closest opportunities will be, Oh I don’t know, Cleveland!!!!!

Congratulations to the Team of Three. Be Cool You Honey Bunnies.

    Da Bloodhound

PS, What has that Zuma been doing lately?

in reply to: Welcome a new Bunny to our fold #1889624

Doc and I were discussing the new little Bunny, Noah, and that brought up an interesting quandary: Will Noah get his social security number or his own GC.com account first?????
You know where my betting money is!!!!

A big congrats to my good friends Team Honey Bunnies on their major milestone. That will be a hard act to follow.
A third team member means Zuma will be looking over his shoulder hard for awhile and when the new little Baby Bunny gets the hang of things Ralph may be trying hard just to keep up with Da Team. LOL
Seth can ya get him a Garmin instead of a Nuk? A sound investment if you ask me.
    All the best!

in reply to: Bikers wanted: Chippewa River Trail #1888133

Just a little note on your planned attempt to complete the entire Chippewa River Trail Series in one day – GOOD LUCK.
I guess I’d have to say it can’t be done in one day without night caching on one end or the other.
If you don’t do’um all and just cherry pick along the way I still don’t believe you can get from Eau Claire to Durand.
I think you would be advised to do the series over the course of a weekend. The work Zuma! put into it deserves more than a park and grab approach to this great list of caches. The Trail itself is also a great experience.

in reply to: Why I voted "NO" to logging temps #1887159

I guess I’ll drop my two cents in here too.

Satisfy all involved in participating in events and don’t place any hides unless they are permanent gc.com approved caches.

More work and effort for sure would be required and probably fewer numbers to chose from but that is one possible answer.

    Problem solved!!??

I thought that perhaps using the same “COW” design that lost out for last years geocoin might be appropriate. Great design and way to increase interest in having that design finalized as the next Wi-Geocaching coin too.

in reply to: Geocaching Bash at the Hudson Hot Air Affair #1883707

A great big THANKS to all that participated in the first HHAA – Geocaching Bash.
I’m sure we will do it again next year. Probably a little bigger and a whole lot better.
Spike007 and I looked at this year’s placements and have decided to submit ten (10) caches to gc.com. Watch for HHAA-event name caches soon. No need to make a second trip if you found’um during the event, just write your log and claim a smiley. Records show team Hike and Seek beat everyone to the punch at 7:00 am Friday for ALL the FTFs – Nice job.

    UPDATE!!??

Just a FYI for all the lazy cachers. (Most of my friends, hehe)

We are in process of loading all HHAA coordinates on a couple laptops, one to be available at DOC. s event on Saturday and one to be available at the event headquarters (E. P. Rock Elementary School) to load Garmin GPSrs. (Sorry as that is the only interface cables we have)

    Hey Kent,
Sorry to hear about the event.
Perhaps it’s time to downsize to a more modest event and try again.
We are having a small event at Hudson Hot Air Affair February 1-3. Come on up! Doc. is having a coffee meet and greet that weekend in Hudson too. See ya there??

Congratulations you guys. Amazing number of finds.

You may want to slow down just a bit as the big gold #5000 ammo can may still have wet paint on it before Zuma and I can fill it up and hide it. LOL

    Da Bloodhound and DOC.

Hudson Hot Air Affair is planning a three day event to go along with the balloon activities. These will be Feb. 1-2-3, 2008. Da Bloodhound and Spike007 have been asked to provide direction and technical support for the event.
Approximately 24 new ammo can (Take note Mr. Lagrac) caches will be hidden. These will be in an area from St. Croix Falls south to River Falls. These will be converted to traditional cache immediately after the event so they can be claimed for smilies.
A basic geocaching talk and demo will take place on Saturday at the event headquarters.
Information books/logs will be available at M&I Banks and event headquarters probably starting Thursday afternoon.
We are hoping to be able to give away a trackable geocoin to all participating.
Additional prizes will also probably be given away.
More information will be available in the next several months.

    Hi Dave,
    This is a two-fr
Da Bloodhound and DOC. would like to see the logo redesigned and “jazzed” up a bit.
    Thanks,

Man, a dead floating raccoon. That had 3 difficulty cache container written all over it. You did bring it home, right?
Way to go Bandits on #2500
One of these days I hope I get there too.
    Good caching!

Who would have thought numbers like that were possible back when we did the Gauntlet together?

    Congrats. for sure. Well done.
