I need a Garmin MAP60 unit in non-working condition. All I am looking for, really, is the shell so it can be any model of the 60’s. Anybody have one they would like to part with?

You may not be aware but geocaching in the deep woods with a nonworking gpsr is just silly. 😆 Then again if you really want a nonworking variety just open the battery compartment and take out the batteries and throw them away. An instant nonworking gpsr. 😆 If I can be of more help just call.
Get the hot dogs, popcorn and beer ready.

I think we’ve totally hijacked this thread now, but glad to be of service, Coastiegirl!
I *think* I’m going down to Beloit on Friday to see a really rare bird that’s been hanging out there. And caching my way there and back. How close is Whitewater to the interstate? There are a couple earthcaches near there!
Is that the hummingbird I read about? The green breasted something or other that only lives in mexico.
The Indians use it as a half way point between the Mississippi River and the great lakes.

A bit fiddly but it does work. Zoom in to the area you want then under the layers tab check under the recreation and trails folder there you will be able to check the the Ice age trail.
This will also give you satellite photos with the trail highlighted. Then print it out. I have found it useful
Hope this is close to what your looking for. And one last thing. You can’t beat the price..Here is another link….http://www.sissy-n-cr.com/store4.shtml
Go to the store area and check out the battery holders. I have one and its the greatest thing since beer.
Congrats you guys.

Then we all had a group to take to the woods. I feel particularly proud of myself. I ended up with the same amount of people I started with. No losses at all.The real highlight for me was able to genuflect at the feet of Trudy and the Beast. What a thrill.
Thanks Dave, if you do it again let me know. I’ll be more than happy to help.
P S Dave did you find that one cache?
No problem here. Used IE.
Try this.
Then look under Earthcache masters.
Or ask Bunny fu fu. She be the earthcache master master.
This is my favorite log.

Sorry I couldn’t help myself. 😆
