😀 I’ve been there a couple times already and had nice chats with Dr. Evermore. He is always interested in where people are from. Great guy to talk to. If you haven’t done this cache yet, I highly recommend it.

Hmmm… just how much would it cost to send something to all the police departments in Wisconsin? Is this something the WGA might consider?

This sounds simlar to the Chippewa Valley event last year. In the 98+ degree weather, it was a welcomed find when there was a coupon for some A&W rootbeer. 😛

    Tree knot holes.

    Two Creepy Ticks! EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, wrong event. This one had a pass book that had to be punched at each cache. When you were done with as many caches as you wanted, you turned in the pass book and received a Chippewa Valley coin and were entered into a drawing to win cool prizes. There were a GPSr, mountain bike and I think a hotel package. Zuma’s event was held at the same park where one of the temps for this event was.

Wholly cow!!!!! That many caches?!?!?! It took me three or four trips last time to get them all. (OK, that was my fault… the first trip, I forgot to load the maps into my GPSr) I hope the weather is a bit better this time. Every time I went up it was either torrential downpours or in the high 90s. Not that I’m complaining… I’ll cache in any weather, it’s just that the tick spray doesn’t last as long in that kind of weather and I really, really, really hate ticks with a passion! I ended up with six ticks from the Devil’s Punchbowl. EWWWWWW!!!!!!!

Ah… now I understand. I never really looked that close at this cache considering it’s ratings. I’m not one to put myself at risk, since I mostly go out on my own and knowing my limitations as well as “Old”s. Now I wish I checked it out a little more. I just read a few more of the logs and I’m sure I could have come up with a rather interesting adventure.

I can’t wait for the swelling and bruises to go away (no, not from caching… from ice) so that I can get back out on the trails again.

Poland is quite a way… one of my TBs just ended up in Germany. Now if the guy in Denmark that is holding my bear TB hostage for a year and a half would let him go… all would be good.

Ok, I know I’m missing it here, but what was the reason it was archived? Was it because of someone getting hurt or was it because someone decided to cut down a tree?

The bug isn’t really yours. It was just sent to you for distribution. It’s the same with the jeeps. Just log it like a normal TB and place it in a cache.

Hmmm… Geowoodstock or Hedgehog show in Denver… I’ll have to think hard about this one.

And I thought I was bad when I dropped to 58 and couldn’t stop shaking! I will never forget the look in my friends eyes. They just stood there staring at me. Well, after that episode, I told them what to do if I look like that again. Big mistake!!!! Now they keep asking me if I have to eat something. It’s nice when they are concerned, but when they ask you every hour on the hour, it tends to drive you batty.
