In my humble opinion… it really doesn’t matter. Take a look at the list of what people are bringing and if you see too many desserts, bring a side dish or something to snack on… if there are too many snacks, bring dessert, etc. There isn’t a guard on duty saying that if you don’t bring what you were supposed to based on your name, you can’t come. It’s all for fun! So bring what ever you want.
Just my two cents. 😛
Does anyone know if there is a different sticker for out of state people or is it the same one with a different price?
If you are interested, I have an extra that I’d be willing to part with. E-mail me privately at old-and-decrepit @ wi.rr.com (remove spaces)
and I hurt! 🙁 But I had lots o’ fun! 8)
I’m pooped! 😯
I agree the “Dr. Evermor and Lady Eleanor ” cache is worth seeing, even if you don’t get to have tea with him. I was there on a cold October afternoon. I did get to meet Dr. Evermor, but he stayed in his car to keep warm. He was very friendly and even gave me a current newspaper that had an article about him in it. A fascinating place.
I got mine today!
As mentioned earlier, we will bring a couple cases of water.
I just got an e-mail from groundspeak with the info I needed at 11:44PM. I guess they were just busy.
Seeing as how they have had problems, and I’m not in that much of a hurry, I think I’ll wait awhile. If I don’t hear from them by next week, I’ll take your advice and e-mail them again. Thanks.

I just returned from my 6th trip to the Chippewa Valley. This time I stayed two nights instead of just one. I never would have dreamed I’d be driving four hours one way just to find some caches, but that little contest they had awhile back just got me hooked on the area. So after tromping through the woods for hours on end and finding my way back to the parking lot, only to realize it was the wrong one and I was parked about a half mile away, I had to make sure the bears at Irvine Park were still safe in their bear habitat before I headed home all ready to plan my next trip.
Total is back! 😀
I’d love to be there! It all depends on the day. My summer of bumming has ended… I was called back to work this week. 🙁
OOOOOHHHHHH Bad Parsnip!!!! I ran into this last week. It was worse than the poison ivy! Dashed back to the car and headed to the first restroom available to wash. Nasty, nasty stuff!
I’d love to help. I’ve marked my calendar and unless something drastic comes up, I’ll be there. 😛
