Extra set of car keys!
I have a spare set on a carabiner that is attached inside my bag. I’ve had to use them more than once. 😳
Why not keep them in the glove box so you don’t lose them on the trail? 😆
I actually only lost one set on the trail. I usually jump out of the van, slam the door and THEN realize I didn’t grab the keys from the ignition.

I’m sure most of you have heard my story by now, but in case you haven’t, I would just like to point out that you need to look up from the GPSr every now and then. 😆
I was caching up in the Eau Claire / Chippewa Falls area and was following a trail. The GPSr said the cache was about 50 feet straight ahead. The trail turned, I didn’t. 😳 I walked right off the cliff. Landed in some nice thorns. Ended up having surgery on the knees last year because of this. 🙄
I guess my name really fits.
4 GPSrs
3 rubbermaids full of swag
TBs & Geo-coins
carabiners
official tick remover
and I figure I’ve used about 20 cans of bug spray by now.I come up with 141 people, 3 dogs and an extra person way in the background to the left of the slide… but, I could be wrong. 😆
I’ll be there, even if I have to come by myself. 🙁
HEY! That was not six words.

DAH! I too spent some time there, most in the basement of buildings, very laslo like, hours upon hours in the computer labs grinding out code that I’ve not used since.
Ditto on the long hours and useless code! However, the computer labs at Kent State were in the brand new math building… nice glass picture windows on the first floor. Ah! The memories! There is just something about people cramming and writing code at 2am that gets them in the mood to sing some nice Monty Python hits. 😯
I’m a lumberjack and I’m ok…. 😆
Congrats! Just don’t forget to close the books now and then and look around.
I’d love to see a lame cache icon for all the guardrail and lamppost caches.
Thanks for checking. I was beginning to thnk it was just me. I guess people will just have to find my TB before the official release date. I don’t think that will be too much of a problem.

Bigger PQ limits, say 1,000 per query. The new GPSrs can handle it, and it would make life easier when planning trips. Same goes for caches along a route being able to handle longer than 500 miles. Having a via function when inputting addresses in caches along a route would be nice. Like Chicago to Atlanta via Nashville or something along that order rather than just custom .kmls or point a to point b.I’d even pay for a higher-order premium membership to have these functions. Maybe a dedicated server for the higher -fee members?
I totally agree! My trip to St. Louis last year, via Omaha, NE; St. Joseph, MO and Kansas City, KS ended up being 12 different PQ. What a pain!
OH! And let’s not forget this. As I’m still hobbling around on crutches after knee surgery (both times mind you) trying to get some water to take pain killers while at work…
“You look like you’re in pain. Does it hurt?” 😡

“How much money to you get caching??????????”
Or, what do you get when you cache? In reference to prizes, money, etc. I guess people still don’t understand the thrill of the hunt.
No KIDDING! I finally gave up trying to explain to a couple people at work that geocaching is not finding the hollow rocks that you break open to see the pretty crystals inside.
