But I urge you please do not beat your self up and feel as if you were wrong to feel how you felt.
As for using this public forum to vent and let your feelings be known? What is wrong with that?Just a clarification for readers. I’m not “beating myself up” for the way I feel about this subject matter, nor am I apologizing for any venting of my frustrations in these forums or for defending my viewpoint, and those of others who share it, about the value of going the distance on puzzle solving. My apology was intended directly for those deserving individuals who spent time looking for caches, that weren’t there to find, as a result of my attempts to thwart recent puzzle tours. Having gone down every other avenue of appeal without success, I took the dark alley… and matters into my own hands. Insomuch as I violated the WGA forum terms of use, I take full responsibility for my actions and wholly accept any tarnishing of character that follows it, as must the other primary party in this controversy.
Everything that can be said has been said. Everything that could be laid bare has been laid bare. Now it’s time to own up, accept and move on…

I wish to express my personal apologies to anyone who searched for S|S caches while participating in a puzzle tour or being directly affected by my actions to abate them. It was not up to the standards that I have set for myself in this sport and my interest in making puzzle solves worth the effort. Not only that, but to do so by perpetrating an alias and pretending it wasn’t me, was beyond the pale and anyone caught in the crossfire has my sincerest apology.
I will continue to express my disappointment with this manner of caching, but will no longer use these public forums to do so. All of you deserve better of me, especially those who side with me on the issue and feel like you were taken advantage of. Know that my actions represent the degree of passion I put into this sport and the value I seek to add, and maintain, to the experience beyond the rudimentary elements of finding a container with a GPS.
All S|S caches will be up and running again soon after I find the time to determine which ones I wish to adopt out, in the meantime, feel free to log any disabled caches, provided you can find them…
I couldn’t have said it any better myself….

What: The 2010 Puzzle Bus Tour of the Kingdom of Selzzup
When: 20 March 2010.
Where: Appleton area in general.
Why: A big push to clean out lots of puzzles in the area.
Who: 8-10 intrepid cachers.
Will have a mini bus available that day, so there will be room for up to ten cachers. Several places have already been spoken for, so act now…..
Send me a note by e-mail for a reservation, cache details, etc.
So Marc, how many DNF’s in the Appleton area before you decided to move on with your Puzzle Tour Saturday, curious minds want to know.
And SS, don’t fret too much, I have a feeling your caches will be reappearing soon. 😉
