Also, I don’t know if I should admit this or not, but I didn’t count a whole group of about 10 tabs or so where I opened up the city GIS map to check a possible cache placement, but just ended up property stalking. Is that even a thing? If not, I just made it one. 8)

Funny, my wife uses a very different word…

WGA = Wisconsin’s Geocachers Anonymous
Hello, my name is Joe. I have been a geocacher for three years. This is my first meeting…
GC.com = 27 on this computer, 4 on other devices/computers
Other open tabs related to caching (including maps, gps info, apps, forums, facebook groups, wikis, google searches, footwear, etc, etc…) = 43 on this computer, 8 on other devices/computers
For a grand total of (let’s see… carry the one…) 82
Firefox and it’s tab groups is a wonderful, horrible thing.
…And maybe I need professional help… 😯
Is this strictly gc.com addresses, or anything geocaching related? Either way, it might take a while for me to count… 😆
I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning!
Well, I guess that settles it! I was hallucinating! Weird. I know we talked about looking for a cache while we were waiting, and I’m sure I must have brought some up on the map in c:geo. I know we had a little picnic at that park and watched the planes fly over. I don’t know how I got it in my head that we actually looked for one there.
Well, thank you all for trying!
Now, I’ll just sit back and wait for the nice young men in their clean white coats to come and take me away. (HAHA)

GCPM94 ?
I checked it out and thought that might be it at first, but then saw it was archived looong before we were there. Seems like it could have been nearly the same spot, though.

Are you certain it wasn’t a puzzle cache? There is one located in that park, but I don’t want to spoil the puzzle.
I’m almost positive it wouldn’t have been a puzzle. Especially not this one. I could have never done that in the park on my phone! Our friend would still be standing at the airport, waiting for someone to come pick her up! 😆
Of course, it’s possible I hallucinated the entire event…
11/15/2012 at 2:06 am in reply to: dingoagogo hits #500 on Veterans Day at a Veteran’s memorial #1965657Thank you, friends! Being a veteran myself (I did my best to keep the northeast corner of Kansas safe for a few years!) I thought it seemed like a good way to cap off a morning of caching with my girls!
Magnolia Bluff, the oldest active geocache in Rock County, has just gone missing again after the listing was adopted and the original container was replaced about a year ago. Some contents were strewn about, and the container is gone. Unfortunately, the cache is clearly listed in the description and some logs as being a .30 caliber ammo can.
This thread is bumming me out. 🙁
Hey Jeff, I’m not exactly artistic, but I do like to play with photoshop. If you want to send me your jpegs, I’ll see what I can do. Although I probably won’t have much of a chance until after school starts up. We have a busy week, and next week will be away for vacation. (Which is why I will be missing your upcoming event) 🙁
mushroom420 in Beloit just had two ammo cans go missing this week. I know he put a lot of effort into dressing them up, and I hated to see them go missing.
