  • Wow, that adding water and mixing in the dry ingredients is SOOOO tough on a good manicure. Just hate breaking a sweat when trying to cook breakfast. Hmm, I guess that’s why someone really smart invented Perkins!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohhhh, save a coin for me, please! I’ve got something cool to trade! 😀

LB7 is bionic and does not require sleep.Let me check a calendar and horse schedule. I haven’t had my bike out on the trail yet and live really close. I don’t work at the clinic on tues or thurs – so usually availible unless animals are scheduled. I do have memorial weekend comittments.

The Woodville aka Wildwood trail is 3 miles from my house. Let me know when you are coming, I’ll ride with ya. Plan on starting in Woodville and riding south. Make sure your pocket query includes the area around Spring Valley as well. It will be fun to meet ya in person.

Why doesn’t someone host a CITO event in the park at the same time the WGA event is going on? Coords at the campground or nearest dumpster.

There, problemo solved. ( By a blonde!)

Bush Wacking Queen ever so eloquently stated my point of view. It’s a long hard haul to get to these events. At the price of gas today, I will make the haul to get the numbers. I can visit on line at any time. If I can’t get the numbers for the time and effort expenditure, then I will haul my gps elsewhere.

in reply to: Any "Geocoin Nerds" out there??? #1884314

Wow! Robin stopped by last night and dropped off some personalized geo-nerd coins for DB and me. Awesome! Thank you, Robin! That was quite outstanding of you. I never hop into this thread….so didn’t know anything about them. Definitely will be ordering some of these. Pink and purple glittery – it’s so me! 🙂

Stalkers come in all shapes and sizes. Ewwwwww!

in reply to: Mysterious Yellow Orb? #1887866

I noticed that orb while caching in SE MN yesterday. I was more disturbed to notice the numerous contrails in the sky. Those contrails are only left by military planes. They saw the orb, too. The orb’s days are numbered. It’s on the radar now!

I feel like I’ve been caching with lagrac, Trekkin’ and Birdin’ after working all night cleaning up some serious flooding in the basement. I now intimately know every knot, creak, groan and nuance in my basement stairs as I hauled out bag after bag of soaked stuff. Hmmm, wrapping paper from the ’80’s???? Yeah, it can go!!!! Ran into a number of surprises down there. Some not so very pretty. My weekend plans have been abruptly aborted. Unfortunately, they seemed to have collapsed before the flooding occured. I just have a bigger picture to focus on now. Ohhh, sigh. Oh, whine! Ohhhhh, stinky wet basement smell!!!

About 3″ of snow/concrete on the ground and enough accumulation to start to pull a car into the ditch. Yeah, I was out driving in it. Now it’s turned to rain. More snow to come tonight. Still blowing hard . Weather station showing about 30 mph. and a wind chill of 5 degrees (above 0). Tried to herd the roosters from one barn to another, and they went tumbling down the driveway in the wind! Guess I should put out a little more corn for them!

in reply to: Weather woes and whining….. #1887681

They LIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It IS accumulating!!!!!!!!!! White everywhere!!!!! I feel like I’m locked in a perpetual loop!!!!!!! Quick, someone throw me a cache! With color! Sunny colors, no camo beige!

Darn, nothing like a little white cheddar with white-out whine!!!!

    Next!

The sharp cheddar is always good for starters, but the swiss lace is my favourite. And surprise…they come with the requisite fondue pot! Finger lickin’ good!

Hope all goes well for you at the St. Paul Clinic. Great group of Cardiologists. They’ve kept my dad going for years. One of the top groups around. Keep us posted, and I’ll try and keep things a little more sedate for ya. I’ll also try to keep it under five letters or less when writing to not over-whelm you.

Thanks for your assistance, smart boy! 😀

Wow! I just pulled up the map for the area, then checked the topo map. SWEEEEET! That is some kick-ass terrain! Yeah, baby – that is going to be absolutely stellar for caching in. Nothing boring about this locale. Oh, I am drooling over those hill climbs. Pity the snow is gone off that south facing slope – that would make it even more fun. Geez, I’m drooling now!

Ya know, that Cheezehead seems like a really smart guy. Perhaps a case or two of Leines could procure a bit of his time and expertise……Otherwise, I will be forced to resort to the “Secret Weapon”…..which no self proclaimed cheesehead can resist!! 😉
