Yeah, I understand completely. The same thing happens to me whenever I initiate someone from a Zuma! Wannabe Groupie circle into the Friends of Zuma! circle. Ahhh, the magic of Leinies!

Ya know, I thought I saw something on CNN about a disturbance in LaCrosse involving a local massage lady and a monkey. I just assumed it was at the Zoo, since there were talking about this broken cage …. oh…oH…..OHHHHHH!

Waa Hoo! Picked up the last four FTF’s with none other than Jolly Ol’ FTF King Zuma! this morning. He was kind enough to let me be his stand-in FTF Queen for an hour! The snow was gorgeous and fluffy after yesterday’s blizzard. Anyone looking for some winter friendly caches or a numbers run, this trail is the spot to go! Having a car at each end sure made the caching more efficient. If you come over this way to do the 40+ caches on the Woodville Trail and need a car jockeyed, it’s only a coupla miles from our place – jus’ give a holler!

Merry Christmas, Mr. Zuma! Merry Christmas!

Oakdale Nature Preserve is where you end up at to solve Doc’s Dirty Little Secret; The Missing Link – it’s near DB’s M&C’s Grand Celebration.

The UM series, Cryogenic Coackroach Containers by Boris Badenov (Gary’s grandson Jordan) were set up to be a speed number run (We tried to set up 30 caches in three miles). Not all are skirt lifters! Waa Hoo! Mnpilot’s caches rock! Most are very winter friendly. Several of MNpilot’s very excellent hides in Woodbury were set up in conjuction with Doc’s Dirty Little Secret caches. Mutsley and Crew also have some excellent caches set up in the same area (Tamarack Nature Preserve) and in Carver Lake Park. Those are park and grab a bunch. Caches put out by Forever isn’t Always are not winter friendly, and need maintenance. Knowschad and Proys have some very clever hides in the same area. Run a pocket query for 55125 – do a 6 mile radius, run terrain and difficulty to a 3, include puzzle caches, and you’ve got yourself a fast numbers run. Everything is being found on a daily basis over here, so there are no new trails to blaze.

Another area is Oakdale – if you center a query on my cache – DB’s Birthday Card, go out 3 miles, you will end up with a bunch of caches right in that area, esp. in the Oakdale Nature Preserve. Some very clever Mutsley and Crew hides – nice x-country skiing through there, but not winter friendly hides.

River Falls, WI is near the area you will be traveling through. Spike007 and Hike and Seek have some terrific winter friendly hides there. Some p&g and some park and hike and grab a bunch – See Hoffman Park and Chickadee something or other on the Kinnikinic River caches by Spike007.

Also – you will be passing right over the Woodville or Wildwood Trail at the Woodvlle, WI exit on I94 – another excellent numbers run and all are winter friendly. Probably 25+ caches down that trail that you don’t have yet. The trail allows snowmobiles on it, there are no groomed x-country ski trails – but it is allowed. Follow trax to caches here, too. Really nice variety of hides here, too.

Hope this helps. Crap, I really want to caching now!

This should put you over 3000 in a weekend!

Ahhhhhh! Cammo duct tape and red wine!

I’m quite sure that the term “anti-clockwise” was coined right after Salvadore Dali painted “Persistence of Memories”. One of my favourite painting in the world!
