The folks in Europe seem a lot more respectful of the geocoins than some folks in the US who think they can just keep them to add to their collections and lie about dropping them in another cache.  I have only had a few disappear over the years – the one that traveled the furthest is up to almost 52,000 miles and still going, and the one that traveled the least made 339 miles in WI before disappearing 4 months after it was released.  I still think it is really cool to live vicariously thru my coins, and many cachers post photos of locations and things where they have been!

Mine’s pretty boring. When I first got on the internet I used “donb” as my login and E-mail address for everything. Somewhere along the line the internet gods decided I needed to have a 6-character username so I just slapped an 01 (zero one) at the end of it because, in my book, I’m number 1 :oP I use it for just about every forum, social networking site, etc that doesn’t force me to login with my E-mail address. Funny thing is around 2001 I started running my own servers for my internet stuff (donsworld.org) so I relaxed the rules on the system and once again I can use “donb” for my own stuff!

See…. Told yah it was boring!

For the Koomla_K idea I think we should shoot for a deeper evergreen/”packer” green color than the bright John Deere color that is somewhat obnoxious. Otherwise I like that design :o)

Yeah – not just today – the whole site has been weird lately like their servers are finally getting overloaded. I just found out i’m going to the new zoo and wanted to scan the area – no such luck I guess….

Thank you for checking on that for me (us). I guess I’ve known about parking in Wal-Mart with campers and semis but never thought of it for just my little ol’ truck. I have pretty well tinted glass in the back so if I sleep in the box that will work well, and I can always use one of those goofy blindfold things. If I sleep in the cab with the seat reclined back I can just plop a pillow over the window – I usually do that in rest areas when driving for long hours.

I was thinking of the Southwest corner of the Amity lot because there is a group of trees in that corner, but wasn’t sure if the mafia would come after me or not!

I haven’t decided yet if I’m driving down Friday night or early Saturday, but I have full wall – wall carpet in the box/cap of my truck and am considering sleeping in there. I haven’t slept in this new one yet, but have a few times in the old one. The biggest scary thing is worrying about where to go to the bathroom if necessary.

Can anyone suggest an area where I would not get busted for overnight parking that would not be brightly lit, loud, and in an ideal fantasy world have a usable bathroom not far away?
