Who’s planning to go next year? Do we know where it is going to be held next year? Anyone put in a bid to bring it to Wisconsin next year? Tami

๐Ÿ˜€ A big congratulations and a BIG HUG from the Ecorangers.

Also, thanks for giving back to the geocaching community by planting caches for the rest of us to find.

Your maintenance record is most impressive….Tami

๐Ÿ™„ We did not receive one yet either. Tami ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ˜† I think I’m one of those “5” you were talking about.

Put in some e-mails to see what happens next. Tami

๐Ÿ˜ฎ Thanks for the chuckle Jeremy (jvechinski) about Marc…..

I too stay away from the national forums because they are so negative.

I’d rather be out hunting caches, planting caches or maybe even cleaning my house (which I’m procrastinating from doing right now!). Actually, I’m just taking a short break from cleaning and doing the laundry.

    8) Red is the next chosen color. There’s a new thread started in the Announcement section on how to put in a request for a 2007 jeep tb. Tami

๐Ÿ˜† Last year they handed them out at the MidWest Geobash. Glad they are doing it differently this year. Tami
    Put in my order. Thanks!

๐Ÿ˜ฎ “Actions Speak Louder Than Words!”

For whatever reason/s many Wisconsin geocachers do not visit the WGA forums. By having us vote here in the forums, not everyone will be heard.

Whoever wants to know about who would log temp caches, pocket caches, multi attended or just one attended…..look through the following (sample) events to get your answers. I picked these events at random, pick your own if you would like. Just read through the logs and you “do the math.”

๐Ÿ˜† If you have children, it’s easier for us to attend a campout/picnic event during the summer. If you are a school teacher, it’s a double bonus! Tami

๐Ÿ˜ฅ Can we change our vote? Professor has his high school class reunion on the day we picked!

    ๐Ÿ˜‰ Only 46 votes as of 6/6/07?

    Is everyone still in hibernation?

    Wake up and vote ๐Ÿ˜€

    Tami

Again, I’d like it to be held during the “summer when there’s no school since he campout is/was held during the school year.” Even though the event is only one day, some of us like to make a weekend out of event and hunt the permanent caches in the area and extended area as well.

    8) I received my beautiful Chippewa Valley geocoin in the mail today.
Thanks to everyone who had a hand in it. Tami

Oh…so it “is about the numbers!”

How can you compare finding a temp. cache placed in a huge state park to finding a permanent bench mark?

As I recall at the awesome WGA campout, my family hunted caches from 8:30am to 10:30pm (with a 5:00pm meeting break…actually I went out then to plant my night cache) and we found all of the temp. caches placed for the event including some permanent caches. We hiked 17+ miles, and we are not suppose to get a “smiley” for them/temp caches??????

    Tami

I knew somehow this would tie into the “numbers.”
