Well…..thanks to all that have responded so far….Professor had his share of Green Beer on the 17th. Duelist was dressed up like a leprechaun and had 8 jokes to share with others, Princess was dressed up like a fairy and handed out shamrock (fake) coins, and I was the designated driver. Tami
😆 Perfect timing: Our biggest day was finding 127 (Bob series) and others along the way. Tami
Thanks for asking!
We also enjoy pushing ourselves to the limit and put in 24hour cache runs.

Hope this helps. Tami😆 As much as my family loves camping, we opt for a dry, warm hotel room. Swimming pool and a hot tub are an added bonus. Village Inn.
Tami😆 Timber Trail Campground in West Bend. Has a nice swimming pool, hot tub, sand volleyball court, playground, tennis courts, fishing ponds, hiking trail, nice recreation room, reasonable rates and nice (shaded) camping sites. Tami
8) Earth Angel of the Ecorangers will be attending. This will be my 3rd GeoWoodstock. Will be gone 5 days, leave on Thursday get back on Monday. Flying and staying in a hotel. Tami
Friday early afternoon, I had planted 13 caches (when there was hardly any snow on the ground). The 13 caches were all temps. that I put out for kids/adults to do during a 10 hour ice-fishing contest on Saturday, at Little Cedar Lake where I grew up. Little did I know we would get a ton of snow which made it an extra challenge. I did have alot of fun introducing geocaching to alot of newbies. Turns out we couldn’t find one geocache that I had hidden in the marsh on the ground. I’ll have to make a return visit when the snow melts. I’m already working on ideas for next year’s hides.
So to answer your original question, yes I did geocache. I had also planted a night geocache which turned out to be a big hit.

Will the geocoins for “trade” be trackable with geocaching.com?
Thanks,
TamiDo you have a link for Robin?
😈 During the dead of winter…newbies are probably gun shy about getting out in the cold and snow to hunt caches. Even veteran cachers like RPaske don’t get out much during the winter. (Randy, it was great to see your name on a recent post). Tami
😆 1) We bring a (plastic) toboggan along and pull the kids and/or they pull each other, and then they have fun sliding down the hills.
😀 2) Snow brush? I bought the deluxe version….the one that the truckers use thus it has the ability to extend (twist & lock telescoping handle) comes with: snowbroom, ice scraper, ice chiesel, and a squeegee. It doubles as hiking stick for me as well in the extended manner.
😯 3) I learned from Uncle Fun to fasten a hand warmer on the back of the gps to keep the batteries from being drained so quickly from the cold.
😳 4) Gators? We use our “gators,” to keep the snow from getting into the boot. We originally used them when cross-country skiing to keep the snow out of the ski boot and out of the leg/pants. The gator is fastened around the bottom of the boot and gets tied right below the knee. Thus snow is NOT allowed to enter the pant legs/and or boots.
Hope this helps. Tami 😉
PS As a cache owner….it might be helpful if we put on the cache page something like, available in winter AND/or winter friendly. So we know that the caches are findable in snow. EnergySaver does a nice job as he writes, “cache is available up to 2 inches of snow, ” or something to that effect. Thanks Ron!
🙄 No Sloughfoot, your’s was not the one in question. It was GC10N16.
Looks like the reviewer in Wyoming has extra time on their hands to help us out from time to time. I wonder how many other caches he/she was kind enough to approve for Wi? THANKS! 😆
😆 Congratulations (Detective) Cheese-Wis for solving the mystery.
Can’t thank ALL the Reviewers enough for all the time they give up reviewing caches. So THANKS you guys! 😀
Maybe you’ll catch a break this week with all the cold weather….wishful thinking eh? 😈 Tami
