Yep! The WBA Chamber received a GEM grant and we have thousands of dollars allocated for advertising “spending” only. It was our third year receiving this grant…glad we made your day and thanks for bringing it to everyone’s attention. EA

Not to mention, last year we had the number one geocacher in the world attend, 😛 this year we have the number two geocaching team in the world attending. 😮A heartfelt congratulations from the Ecorangers! Sorry it took so long to post here. We’ve enjoyed geocaching with you all at the camp cache n jam and the Winter Janboree (to list a few). Way to go and thanks for posting the pictures. Have fun on your camp outing in June. We are so proud of you Becky, Doug, Emma, Evan and Eric.

This is a reminder that the cache ba$h caches will go “live” on Friday, August 13th at noon. The date on the event page reads, Saturday the 14th but the committee thought it would be a good idea to release the caches on the 13th so that geocachers would have more time to find them all 😆 and to take part in the other activites listed on the event page. Ecorangers have and will continue to archive caches to make room for others…we did so for both cache ba$hes and also for the 20K event. Tami
Ron: I thought I read somewhere that the State Parks don’t want ammo boxes anymore and would prefer clear tupperware containers with a geocaching sticker on the outside? Maybe that’s why just your ammo boxes disappeared? Just a thought…glad you will be replacing them. Tami

There were many good questions asked by you all…I’ve decided that since voting has opened, I will not attempt to answer them (and if you need to know why, my mom’s been in the emergency room 3 times over the last 6 days thus my mind had been occupied with other things). So, with that being said, if you believe I can “contribute” to the WGA board then please vote for me. Thanks, Tami

Thanks for being a giver….giving back to the geocaching community that is. Without hiders, geocaching wouldn’t exist. I echo JimandLinda and say “thanks” to those that help us with maintenance issues. You not only help the hider but you help your fellow geocacher as well.
