I wonder how many watchers GC can handle on one cache listing? 😈

IMHO The cache is not the goal here. Although the cache is a fine idea, its secondary to the adventure of finding it. Its a great hike in a great area. When I did it last fall I saw deer and turkey. Then met some horseback riders.
I agree with that concept … we don’t do that many caches (maybe 2 to 4 per weekend) so I always research caches for the MOST enjoyable settings … especially when we take along first time cachers (which we’re doing for the 3rd outing in a row). So maybe there are 10 people that want to hear about the great views, like you said.
You might want to check out this Wisc. Geo Coin that I activated a while back … http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=259741
This guy originally contacted me a few months back asking if he could take a coin with him to Iraq, after his training. I said yes, but it was taken before he could get to the cache. So I took my last Wisc. Geo Coin, made it in honor of those that serve us and mailed it to him. He’s going to take it with him and is logging the caches he’s visiting along the way.
F is for Frozen cache under a pile of wood chips
96 ammo cans carefully hidden … yet if one is crushed … 95 ammo cans …
An update …
I crossed my fingers and did what I had outlined.
It worked fine!To make sure, I did a sync after I was done, the sync process did not seem to notice the switch-a-roo.
One thing not addressed/explained … might be why someone created a separate ID just for an event, rather than using their normal caching ID.
While there might me another reason (or not) in this case … when ever I run an event I always use a separate ID, in my case called “energysaverEVENTS” … just so my regular email account doesn’t get hit with all the event finds (I use a yahoo email account to catch the “pile” of emails).
My 2cents:
I think it would be nice to “update” the logo … but only slightly … as a like the basic concept of the state outline, GPSr and ammo can. More specific … I like the simple/clean state outline, but maybe it’s time for a more graphical detailed ammo can and GPSr … maybe the GPSr should be more representative of a current product being used.
That last bit is sort of ironic coming from me, as our main GPSr is still a good ol’ Garmin eMap … which seems to just about match the unit in the logo (ok if you squint).
I would welcome such a designator.
For the most part I’m not in to finding cemetery caches … I will on occasion seek one, but typically if I’m near it during another cache.
I just created a list for caches along the “Ozaukee County Interurban Bike Trail”, which takes your through Ozaukee County (what a surprise) from North to South:
http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=70650e8b-7730-4293-bd80-b5a6eb4374b7
As I noted in the list … most of these caches are on or close to the trail, but I did list some exceptions that are a mile or two off trail, when the trail goes through “cache dry” areas (due to how close it gets to active railroad tracks on occasion).
Not sure if it’s polite to mention your own caches … but here goes …
You could try my mystery cache GCZEEV in downtown Port Washington, WI.
My reasons:
(1) It’s fairly close to your target area.
(2) There’s a bike trail that will take you to the starting point and bikes would be a great way to travel to all the others steps, actually the best way, total travel from start to finish is about 2 miles via roads and bike trail.
(3) There are many other caches along the bike trail and surrounding areas.
(4) This cache is fairly different than most caches, yet not incredibly difficult or excessively time consuming.“silent sports” … is that what geocaching fits into? If so, I can tell me kids to be quiet while we’re geocaching!

The Marshman’s Cache,GC336B no dogs allowed. when i did it last august, the views on both sides of the ridge were great.
The wife and I did this one already … in fact it was I believe the first cache we ever did. For our wedding anniversary we stayed at a B&B in Horicon a couple years back … we a printed out a couple cache pages and decided to give it a try … hooked ever since. That was in pre-Dog days and was the last time we were in Horicon, so we didn’t pay attention to dog signs back then. But thanks, that was a nice cache and great views.

You can go wrong with Breakneck Cache on the NW corner of the marsh: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=7e01ec4d-d933-4127-9296-cc8c9f1ba565&log=y&decrypt=
Thanks for the warning … I will avoid that cache 🙄

So far this week mine have been coming just fine. Keeping my fingers crossed.
😕 Ok, I don’t get that? Are you saying you use EXCLUDE Attritributes in queries and they work? I’m under the impression that they don’t work for anybody.
Or are you just saying the pocketqueries in general are working for you?
