    Glad to have you aboard.
I see your from Stevens Point!
Ever go to the big annual Renewable Energy Fair in Custer, in June each year?

Yes, I’ve experienced that many times.
    But this seemed different.
    Different error message.
And only when you tried to go to a specific cache’s page … the search/seek system was fine, for example (as long as you didn’t click on a cache).

    It just came up again.

If scenery is high on your list … check out “PeeWee’s (Pewit’s) Small Falls” in Baraboo, WI.

The cache is semi-near a very cool falls, that we climbed down to. Bring a light rope, not to repel with, just to use as sort of a hand-rail while climbing down the rock ledges.

It’s funny that people in the Dells pay to see views that are nothing compared to this free one.

Now if I can only think of a new “tricky” cache that some how uses this all. I think I’ll call it “The Oposum Circle … What’s your Arcangl?”.

Please: No questions – I don’t understand me either. No hate mail – I have co-workers for that.

This is getting so deep … that it’s making even me wince now!

It’s getting pretty deep … I thought we were not allowed to use shovels?

So … technically to post a message asking if others share your “PET Peeve” is very inaccurate … since if they DO share it, then the PET part is not right, but instead a “Peeve of the Masses” … or is that what happens when it’s hard to find a parking spot at church?

The reporter is STILL writing the article … this is going to be interesting to see … however, it means I will not be able to post it online until likely 5/19/05 … but I suspect it will be worth waiting for.

She asked me how many teams found all the caches … I had to copy/paste to excel, do some manipulating and some counting … assuming I didn’t miss-count, we had 32 teams find them all out of 91 teams … I was surprised to learn that so many got them all.

IF any of you found them all but have NOT logged your finds yet, or only logged a single find for the whole event, let me (EnergySaver) know ASAP … so I can update my information to the reporter.

    ALSO …

I still have a bike helmet and sunglasses.

There are also about 10 TB’s still showing on the event page, please make sure you don’t have them in your hands.

    No fair “Opossum”!
This forum is called “Meaningless Question of the Day” … now you went and posted a REAL and LOGICAL piece of information … tisk, tisk, tisk … rule breaker!

(Just kidding – thanks for the highly scientific information)

Way to go licker … you don’t have the highest count in the state … so no big plaque … just a small tonsil-ation prize 😉

I’m not critizing anybody or anything … but this whole thing has me confused too … the only thing that would make this make sense, would be if all of sudden this “not for profit” service, suddendly bursts forth with something similar to the Jeep Travel Bugs, but maybe from some maker of orange hunting vests or something.

in reply to: My pet peeve #1749330

Maybe, just maybe …. if you took a piece of clear contact paper (cheaper than those darn Palm screens) and cut it SMALLER than the sticker and stick it to the sticky sticker … so that you have about 1/4″ of actual sticker stickyness all around the edge with the clear paper stuck to the center of the sticker … and then stuck the sticker on the windshield … then when you go to take it off you only have a little border of sticker sticky that your stuck with.

in reply to: Meaningless Question of the Day #1749299

    Great question CB&MB!

It doesn’t seem to make much sense to ask it at first …. but then when you compare it side by side with this … “then why is there not a pile of mulch under a tree when IT gets wet” … the paradox, and the thus the need for the question, becomes much more important in life.

The other week while judging for Science Fair at my daughter’s school … I asked her if when a man says something in the woods and no one is there to here it, is he still wrong? … she said “yes, because sooner or later a woman will find out what he said!” … so there you are, there is no such thing as a bad question.
