well said Bec … nothing like a good analogy!
to digress (sorry the 4 letter word DIET, made me think of food, and made me do a 180) … when you say your SWISS, is that more like the Cheese or like the Cocoa?
Happy Birthday.
However, for me Birthday’s are kind of meaningless, as I can never remember how old I am, until I do the math.

Sorry … I just had to ask today and didn’t want to break the one a day rule … so I just had to hope no one would notice it was meaningless … but I don’t think it is, because I really wanted to know AND I think new people should get to hear about it too … I know, I will post the same thing under the New Member Area! (Just kidding, I won’t … or will I)

After that release of information … I wouldn’t do anything dangerous with a film canister in your pocket!
This reminds me of a funny thing that happened to me and the wife this past winter … Geri wanted a geocaching date (I just got to love my wife, for humoring me and getting my time at all costs) … so we left the kids at home and did our first winter night caching … it was some cache just a few miles north-west of Newburg, WI … can’t remember where at the moment.
Anyway it was a horrible thing to find at night … a nice smooth walking trailing that sort of goes around in a giant circle, with the cache pretty much in thick brush in the middle of the circle … we walked around the circle twice, never getting less than 400 feet away and NEVER finding a non-eye-poking way in. We decided we found the spot that looked the least likely to end us up in the hosptial with the kids home alone … and we headed in. We got to the cache … we heard some dogs barking not too far away … so I got out my pepper spray, not that I would have been able to even see the dogs coming in the dark. Well we logged the find and THEN we found the logical deer trail from the cache back to the path (I suspect the only possible way to get in easily). Then after we walked about 1/4 mile back to the car, I noticed I didn’t have my new winter gloves … so back we went … but NOW, I could not find that stupid deer trail that we had just taken out. But at least we knew the coordinates of my gloves.
I’ve emailed “Genius Loci” as suggest by MB.
Thanks for the tip … I’d like to hear from someone that is doing exactly what I want to, which sounds like the case.I’ve searched we web for various products that are out there … no time right now to try them, but I will do so. I also suspect I need to pick up a memory card too, since I doubt that I can do much map loading with the base 16mb of the Zire 31.
I will try what you said, T&B … I cut/paste images all the time to Word and other places … just didn’t think you could go directly from Word doc to Palm … but then again I’ve only had the thing 1.5 days now.
I use it all the time … works fine, looks normal … but I’m using good old Internet Explorer.
Rumor has it that the rice (stir fry I believe) came on a delayed basis … not sure why … I think this was not a “Regular Breakfast” but a “Multi Breakfast” or maybe a “Mystery Breakfast” … it is a mystery that I ate 5 eggrolls and still felt ok later.
Yes, the Asian Breakfast was at fault!
I tried to type up a question of the day, but was too plumb to reach the keyboard.Beats me … why?
I just got back from judging our schools regional science fair … one project was on batteries and how long they last … the student timed them in hours/minutes in various electronic gadgets … and did it several times … Duracell beat out the other big name brands. Sure this was disposables and not rechargables, but still might be interesting to note, when applicable.

Ah! But that’s what the cell phone is for!
Oh yea, then tent.
I saw it in July … there was a very wet pillow too.
The whole thing gave my kids the creeps. -
