I too can see the logic and if that becomes the decision I would not have a problem with it. But as another example, I have 4 ammo cans at Harrington Beach … not only does the head ranger know about them, he helped place them. Each one is labeled on the outside with the ranger.s name and the park office phone number and states permission for placement.

How can a GPS get a satellite lock indoors?
You have to remove the waterproof seal on your GPS receiver.
(Just Kidding)Is that your daughter in the background of your picture?
She looks like someone I’ve seen before. 🙂Short Answer … none are in Wisconsin.
Long Answer … it’s all addressed here:
http://wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=10084I really thought I found one Saturday … Allen Edmunds had their big red “sort of blimp shaped” balloon out. And not at their showroom, but their secondary plant a few blocks away … so it threw me until I could see the words.
I work for an energy conservation firm … that’s me in the white shirt, to the right of the lady airing her armpits … link
While “EnergySaver” is thus a logical choice … at the time I figured, who cares what I’m named, it’s just a login in name to a website … never thought it would become my identity to other people.
I always wish I had gone with something more fun, to fit my creativeness … but it’s been too many years to start with a new identity.
This will be great information for those trying to find a date … that own a tape measure but don’t see so well.

Try Harrington State Park. Located in Ozaukee county East of Belgium along Lake Michigan. Great park and they welcome geocachers. There is 10 caches located in the park.
I’d have to ditto these … but then again I’m biased because I hid them.
Not sure if you consider this “NorthEast” thou, more “CentralEast” … zip for the series is 53004, if it helps you decide. Otherwise they fit the bill, regarding park once and hike the series. It includes a mystery cache that most people fine to be “very different”.Here’s a bookmark for them all: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=485851ad-e3c2-498a-873a-8ca461a02dc3
Male 6’0″
Female 5′ 7″
Female 5′ 8″I don’t think it’s that big of an issue … just trying to be nice and see if I can help the guy out.
While I still feel bad it happened … upon examining the logbook in the cache that I pulled out, it appears this person found BOTH (the cache and the letterbox) and they wrote on the log that they found the letterbox too. So this would appear to not be an issue of not knowing what they found, but more about not understanding how a letterbox works.
The letterbox is in Port Washington, WI (53074) … if any one happens to stumble upon the letterbox stamper in another cache in the area, let me know.
This is a description of it:
The pink stamp has an image of a series of interlocking triangles.“Finders Tree” unless it has taken sooooo long to find it that we’re just glad someone managed to find it.
No dog treats.
A new cacher family … decided that was there calling card, when they got started. Put them in 4 of my caches in one day. I set them straight.
10/21/2009 at 7:50 pm in reply to: State Parks – Can we do something like this in Wisconsin? #1915498At Harrington Beach it continues to be a win-win situation. The Ranger is aware of many cachers that specifically come to the park because of the 10 caches there … he gets positive feedback on the park in general and the caches … he gets that feedback directly because I have the caches setup to email him the log entries.
But lately, it’s the caches that have been benefiting … as the park’s campgrounds opened a couple months back … causing about 4x the amount of finds. Many cacher/campers are finding the caches as a great night-time hunt, now that people in the park at night is not such a rare occurance (due to the camping).
The ranger is even getting into the fun of it by “giving hints” but I suspect he’s being a bit evil about it: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=05cd1e30-0c6b-47c5-84bb-6168eb5fd7e0
Opps … I see this is the same weekend as the West Bend activities.
I suspect I won’t get any takers. -
