It is most definitely big spiders. While taking the long way (instead of the smart way) through a field on a recent cache hunt, I got to thinking about how I was walking through a similar field when I was a kid and saw one of those huge garden spiders nab a grasshopper. Just then I looked down and noticed that I had just barely missed walking smack into the web of a very large garden spider.
Thanks,TheTapps. I went out and bought a GPSr today. Sorry buddy, it’s a Garmin GPS 60. 8-o Casanova’s ran me a good deal.
1Corinthians 15:58Thanks for the info. The other day I was at REI and as I was heading home I thought about stopping at Casanova’s. I didn’t. I guess that I should have. I’ll swing over there next week. That Garmin 60 sounds like the unit.
1Corinthians 15:58That would work! I’ll mark it down. What time?
1Corinthians 15:58Wonderful! I wish that I could make it there. But I have to work on Saturday.
1Corinthians 15:58Thanks Cathunter!!! That seems like a superb deal. I’m bidding on one on eBay right now and it isn’t even that good of a deal.
Does it come with the USB interface cable and other stuff?

I am available during the week and during the day. Depends on my work schedule. I work for the Waukesha Fire Department. This coming weekend I work on Saturday and don’t know yet if Sunday is open or not. My wife’s birthday. When I know more about weekend availability, I’ll post it here.
Is it worth it to spend the extra $ for a Garmin 60 (the $180 one)? Or is the basic $100 GPS all you need? What do you guys who’ve done caching find out about what features are really crucial? What I read is the ability to stay locked on a signal in wooded areas. Is there a big difference between the 60 and the eTrex Venture?
