Team Vaughan,
Try this:
Go to http://www.geocaching.com/seek/
Enter the zip for the area you are interesed in and you should get a bunch of caches that meet your criteria… Print out the one’s that sound good and give it a shot!!
Have fun!
Bill
Team FlushingrouseJeff,
All of us here at Flushingrouse HQ want to wish you congrats on 1200!! Your caches are some of the ones that contributed to getting us seriously hooked!!!
Here’s to another 1200!
Bill, Anne, Rylee, and Maggie
Team FlushingrouseI’d go for an “in-house” type of database… Something that could get sync’d to my palm which is always along caching with us… Sounds like a winner to me..
Bill
Bec,
Here’s the link for the manual….
http://www.magellangps.com/assets/manuals/newprod/manual_MapSendStandDest.pdfIf you’re a premium member at GC.com you can have “pocket querries” email’d to you automatically… You can configure them almost anyway you wish..
The file that’s sent, loads directly into GSAK(Really pays off to learn it). Then from one screen in GSAK you are able to upload wpts. to your gps and also export a .wpt file which should work for your mapsend problem…
Any help?
Maybe you already knew all this?
Email me direct for more if you need it!!
Bill
Bec,
What is it you’re trying to do exactly..?
I’ll fire up the chat page right now if you want go there and we can talk…
Bill
We’ll be there!! Count us in for two!! Possibly four if the kiddies come with…
Looking at the chances of camping in the area as well!!

All you should have to do is go to the waypoint in question and click on it and then choose to edit it. There you can change the wpt name before you load it to the gps… Also, GSAK will do this for you if you want using “smartnames”… I believe Spinner will do this for you too(It’s been so long since I’ve used it)
Give GSAK a try first.. http://www.gsak.net
Good Luck!!
BillMust be that palm making him a much more efficient cache hunter!! Wtg Miata!!!
Bill
Team FlushingrouseSee you at the Jeep event on Saturday!!
Bill

We hope to follow in your footsteps!! Some time down the road of course!!Congrats!!!
Team Flushingrouse
Brew,
I don’t mind a bit!! I’ll look for it in the near future?
Bill
Give it a shot tonight!! 9:00 P.M.
What night would you like a regular chat to be on if you had your choice? Post it here!!
I think Sundays at 9:00 P.M…
Bill
Ootek and Cathunter,
I believe(never done it myself),
that what you’re looking to do is hit any caches within a certain distance from your route, say 10 miles or so.. Right?
What you do then, is create another set of waypoints which follow your path. this will make up the “arc” you wish to filter from…
Better yet, read this: http://www.gsak.net/help/hs4800.htm
Bill
Team Flushingrouse…We can chat about it here as well… http://home.wi.rr.com/lcdcreations/chat.htm

I wouldn’t say it was a numbers thing for me up to this point..(Although it was a goal to reach 200 at the campout!) Most of all, I just enjoy being out!!
Today I guess I just didn’t want to… So, I went home, cut the grass(quick! NO RAIN), and kicked back with the kids..
I agree with FOEFN in that there’s much fun to be had in placing caches as well.. Kind of a good way to “give back”..
We’ll see if the mood changes in awhile..
Bill
Team FlushingrouseWe found it on the bench… Right where it should have been…
