If you happen to be using Firefox for a web browser….. Check out this little linkie… You could certainly copy the GC&(() code and paste it into the firefox quick search….

Check out this website… http://www.localhikes.com …. I joined sometime back with intent to add a bunch to the website for the Milwaukee Metro area and just haven’t had enough time or forgot to clear track logs before going out… I think this is a great thing to do and would love to contribute to ice age trail maps… This is something that could be “hosted” on your own free webspace if so inclined….

    It’s a great idea!!

    Cache on!!

in reply to: 2006 WGA Board election results #1738798

Thanks to all that voted…Again, this shows a true concern for geocaching in Wisconsin…100 voters is up from turnout totals in the past.

Certainly was a close race again.. This was a great group of candidates and a bunch of fine ideas have come as a result.. Now let’s see what we can do!!

    Thanks again!! and Cache On!!!

in reply to: GPS question #1758825

I always take a regular compass along with me. In fact, it’s lashed right to my fanny pack waist strap. When under cover, and close to ground zero it’s really helpful to cross-reference what the GPSr is telling me with what the compass “says”…

Then comes the elusive use of “the force”… No one’s mentioning that these days but, I can assure you it exists!!

    Cache on,

    Bill

I’m going to get in here before the final buzzer and thank those that took part in the elections. And also those that made the election possible. It shows you all have an interest in what goes on in regards to geocaching here in Wisconsin.. Regardless of the outcome, I’m sure we certainly have a dedicated bunch! Thanks to those that nodded in my direction as well… See you all at the campout!

    As always,
    Cache On!!!
