I’d like to tip my hat and say congratulations to those that made it onto the WGA Board. I know that each one of you will do a fantastic job promoting the sport that we all love so much. Good luck and we’ll see you on the trails – or breakfast which ever comes first!
Mr Traker
I may be missing it, but when does the voting end?
This is right up our alley!!
We’re still in!!
WE ARE!!! We are camping with geoffnsara.
Wow! Thanks for checking out the site and pointing this out to us.
Rules are for a reason and should be followed. We want to thank you, Brian, and the WGA for keeping up to date with all the goings-on in other communities to make sure we are playing this game in a smart and safe manner. Your time and effort in reviewing caches and keeping up to date with landmarks and topo maps ensures that all of us are playing safely and keeping this a fun and harmless sport.
THANK YOU!
The current WGA Board has done an amazing job and I feel that in the next few months it is important to continue where they have left off.
We need to continue to make in roads with State and Local Parks departments including the DNR to preserve our sport. This will create a standard that land managers can expect from those that geocache and ultimately we then control our sport.
We need to move forward on incorporating our organization this will give us more clout when dealing with the State Parks departments as well as creating new revenue streams.
The largest issue that I see looming over our group in the near future is the explosive increase in caches and cachers.
The WGA Board may need to create new policies that include cache rotations. Rotating caches or temporarily removing caches from certain areas will allow the natural environment to revitalize. If we allow trails to form between the parking area and the cache we will run into problems with the land manager.
Educating our newest members is very important. The Board may wish to coordinate a few ‘educational events’ in conjunction with Local Park’s departments. This strategy is working in St. Louis and should be looked at more in depth for Wisconsin.
There is a great deal that we can do individually but it is comforting to know that the WGA Board is working together for our best interests.Today is the DAY!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!
We will be at the beach by 11:30 and the dip will be at noon sharp!
We will be headed to the Chancery resturant for lunch following the dip (12:30ish.)

See you there and have a great new year!!

Will we see you there?
For those that are wanting to get outside during the holidays…you can join us down in Racine on January 1!
http://wi-geocaching.com/forums/Forum1/HTML/000362.htmlWe’d love ours updated. We visited MN in November–adding another state to our list!
Thanks.
Dave:
Either time (December 13, 20, or 27th) works for us. About the breakfast ‘type’, I think if you find a place to accommodate 40ish people comfortably, you’re doing a great job in that. Our July breakfast at the Machine Shed was buffet style with one price and we had a good turnout then.
Nice job Randy!! Congrats on 600!! 1000 is not that far away now!! Good luck on your next 600!!
Hartman Creek sounds good to us!! We can’t wait!!
Congrats! You are hot on our tails now! Keep the challenge coming! See you at 500!
