Awww Jeff! Mrs. Traker now works for the Wisconsin Humane Society and could certainly hook you up with a new feline friend, or maybe a canine caching companion!

Mr. Traker would love to cache every waking moment. Mrs. Traker is swayed by weather easily and is still in school (so weekends are homework times). Mr. Traker loves puzzles, hikes, all-day multi’s. To get all this variety, planning is key and usually involves a driving trip to another county (as we’ve done most in our immediate area). Once summer comes, the addiction will be fueled more as time and weather will be more favorable.

I haven’t done it for the whole country yet but here is what we have so far in WI…

WIRacer24 is related to MRAndersen and Sprint24 cachers also. I believe WIRacer24 travels alot and may not have regular e-mail access. Maybe an e-mail to one of the other teams I mentioned may yield the help you need.

    FYI:
Navicache does not compile caches…it is an alternative site to geocache.com.

in reply to: NEW YEAR FUN!?!?! #1738526

Realized we never said where to meet so we will be at the same location as last year…

Meet us on the Beach at N 42 44.382 W 087 46.726 at 11:45 AM, the dip is promptly at Noon so be on the beach no later than 11:50 AM. There will be hundreds of people there to watch, so the coordinates are needed to find the group. Parking can be found at N 42 44.320 W 087 46.852 or on nearby streets.

    Hope to see you there.

Well, it’s just before midnight and we thought we’d start the ‘updates’ to the Beast’s predictions. We are at 1185 finds, just short of our goal of 1199 for the year. We added 8 states…NY, PA, NJ, DE, NE, IA, LA, and MS. We also were able to add a country…having just returned from a Christmas holiday in Australia! And, as mentioned earlier in this thread, we, too, bought a new cachemobile in July! Oh, what a year!

Looking forward to seeing everyone else’s accomplishments and seeing how they compare to the Beast’s predictions! He was right on for us, even underestimated us a bit!

We remember sitting at our New Year’s lunch last year with you after the annual Polar Bear dip and you doubted you could hit 500. When the Beast chided you about it, you really didn’t think you could do it. Glad to see that you put your mind to it and enjoyed the adventure!!!!!

Yep, it seems off. My post says 10:30pm. I hadn’t noticed this before, but did the message boards forget to ‘fall back’ a few weeks ago?

in reply to: Why do you cache? What do you get out of it? #1760000

Hey Beast: who are you calling children? Team Synergy is fueled by Double Stuffs!

Also, what is R.A.S.H?….other than the effect I have after I finish caching in a very prickly, thorny area.

    We’re impressed…keep finding them caches!!

in reply to: Coming to MN soon? #1740879

Very nice of you to try to help this little guy along.

There is a cacher in this area named Ranger Boy that usually has tickets to the Vikings/Packer game. I know he has gone to MN in the past for previous season’s games. You may want to try to e-mail him directly (and quickly) to see if he is coming to the area this weekend. You can probably go to the geocaching site and look for him and e-mail him through his profile.

    Good luck.
