Da Fu is Da master! Way to go.
I don’t know how I missed this thread a few days ago, but congratulations given late are just as nice. With you guys around, I don’t have to worry about FTF’s any more! It sure is fun havin’ you all in the cachin’ game. Keep on having fun.
Way to go Peach, There are many more where these came from! Keep on having fun!
Justin, a good friend of mine is president of the Baird Creek Conservancy. I told him that some of the best caches in the Green Bay area were in the Baird’s Creek area he was surprised (and pleased). I also told him about our CITO events, and he was really interested. I’m sure that he could pick an area in the the Bairds Creek Parkway for a CITO event. I’d be interested in co-hosting it. We can talk about it at the Names and Faces on Wed. evening.

Accordiongal and I went caching in Redwing today, and met up with other frustrated (DNF’S) cachers at the lack of winter friendly caches.
I lived in Red Wing for 6 years (before caching was invented), and have wanted to get back there to cache for a long time. I’m thinking that I’m going to have to get out there this spring or maybe sometime this summer. I’ve looked at the cache listings, and know that there are a lot of beautiful spots to hide caches in the area.
I am embarrassed by the Brown County Parks committee. These are the same folks that wanted to charge a $5 yearly fee to hide a film canister along the trails and in the parks. They are nothing but a bunch of paper pushers trying to find something to justify their jobs. 👿 I’m sure that they have no clue as to what an earthcache is or how it is logged. I’m sure that they don’t care that this can bring about a greater awareness of the beauty and the fascinating geology of our county.

People always said, “You’ll get more conservative with age.”
I would disagree, with that statement. I would say people get more cynical with age. I have a hard time believing any of the candidates, and believe that they will say anything to get elected, knowing that they will never be able to realistically accomplish even a fraction of what they promise.
This was the first election I’ve participated in with the WGA, and I really appreciated the thoughtful answers that all of the candidates offered to questions from members. I think that there were some great ideas on how the WGA can best serve and preserve our sport. Thanks to all who stepped forward to run.
Congratulations Sweetlife on the BIG number. Keep on enjoying the whole caching experience!
Hemi, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know what it is like to face medical challenges, and you’ve certainly had your share of these challenges. Your 11 yo seems to have found a positive way to deal with difficult circumstance. I think that it is evidence of great parenting! Hang in there. We are all hoping for the best possible outcome from this most recent medical challenge.
Hey Bob, It sure was fun to actually witness your 1400th find yesterday. Congratulations!
Way to go ks9wi! If you haven’t done this cache, make a trip to Green Bay to find it. It is worth the trip.
I think the newsletter is a great addition to the WGA, and can only promote more participation among members. Good job!
Is there a way to send the newsletter to Wisconsin cachers who are non-members of WGA?
Wow Justin, BIG number! Congratulations on the milestone.
You all have to come to Green Bay and find “Cache an Insect” GC12CQ3. Then you will really appreciate bats!
