My feeling is that the program Wife Swap is perfect example of how awful prime time television programing has become. A $20,000 stipend is not nearly enough compensation to be humiliated on national television. The Groundspeak thread is an interesting read. Most contributors predict that it will put geocaching in a very negative light, stereotyping cachers as crazed hunters of tupperware. Oh wait, that’s what we are! 8) Never mind…

I really have so much to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for family and friends who helped me get through an extremely difficult summer, and most thankful that I am walking (and finding caches) again. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Cheeto, I’m glad that you (or others) weren’t injured. I can’t tell you how many times my wife has warned me about all of the things you listed in your post. I guess I have been lucky so far. I know that I’ll be extra careful next time I’m out caching.

I just talked with ks9wi, and he & I would like to join the Door County fun this Sunday. I’m looking forward to hitting my 700th find this weekend. Justin, call me or Keith so we can arrange transportation to conserve some of that precious gasoline getting up to Sturgeon Bay.
