My life BG (before geocaching) could be characterized neither as a techie or a nature boy. I have grown in both areas since, but a third aspect of geocaching has been the social aspect of the sport/activity, helping me to develop a much closer relationship with my older brother and meeting and becoming close friends with some really nice people.

Just kidding Mike, But I always laugh when I see the Picture of you coming down the Hill at Cato Car Crash!!! Priceless!!!!

Congratulations! You guys are one driven team. It was good to finally meet you, even if I had to go to Tennessee to do it.
Movin’ on up there! Congratulations.
Simply AWESOME!!!
Nice achievment on 1.5K! Congratulations.
A couple of weeks ago I was out caching with ks9wi. For some reason the cache descriptions and previous logs were not loaded onto the PDA, only the coordinates and brief outline of each cache. This proved especially troublesome for a number of the cemetary caches we were planning finding, as we no information about finding the various multi stages. Most of the other caches we were able to successfully hunt, but we found out later that several of our DNFs had been MIA for a while. Even though we had more DNFs than usual, we still had a fun day of caching.
Great job Astro-D! Congrats.
Because my Magellan explorist 600XL uses 4 AA batteries, I have always used rechargables. Currently I am using Nuon 2500mAh, and I use an Eveready 20 minute quick charger. The quick charger probably shortens the life of the battery, but only a little bit. I can charge 4 batteries in about 20-25 minutes. So far I have been quite satisfied with the Nuon batteries. I got them at a Battery Plus store. I found that they work better in my GPS than in my digital camera though.
Well put OPS, Where can I apply to become a member of your family?!
Milestones are a lot of fun. Just think, there are 1000 caches out there with orange fingerprints on them! Congrats Cheeto.
Congrats to a super team on #1600!
Congrats on the 1K ZB!
Good suggestions Gotta Run. I also like to know where cachers are from, particularly if they are from our of town or out of state. When traveling to and from Geowoodstock VII this summer, I always mentioned Green Bay in my logs.
I remember years ago when the power went off in NYC, that nine months later the birth rate exploded. I’m just thinking ahead, but maybe we should consider adding a birth announcements section in the WGA forums?
