Roundabouts are ok if they are on a two lane road, anything more than that, they absolutely suck.
That sounds like an interesting trip. Although I think you are all nuts to try this one in the winter. The snow is one thing, but that -20º to -50º is quite another. A long way to go to be stuck inside and a frozen vehicle stuck outside. If a winter trip is planned, I wish you all good luck on this adventure.
Maybe the coin I had stolen in Heidelberg will show up now.

Good warning, but perhaps it would be safer to take the “Recipe” for this concoction off completely and simply state to be aware of bottles with liquids in them. How sad! 😥
I thought about that shortly after posting, but unless I’m blind, there is no edit button.
I took the liberty of moderating the recipe from the original post in the best interest of our member community.
If I have overstepped please send me a PM.
Thanks much, Cheeto. I really appreciate it.
Nice article Ralph. Ease up on the fertilizer for Lauren. Before long she’ll be too big to put on your shoulders.

Bears taste more like beef than chicken.
If you can get meat from a reasonably young bear (1-2 years old), the meat is decidedly better than similar cuts of beef (and worlds better than venison). Unfortunately usually the only bear meat you are likely to be offered is from a big 400-600 boar which has fat marbled throughout and a much more gamy flavor.
My first one was a young one. First fall on his own. Best meat I ever had in my life. My second one was a year older and thought it was very good, there was no comparison though. One year made quite a difference.
Rock piles and pine trees.
I thought I read that one of the requirements was to eliminate, and keep eliminated, all mosquitos from a 1 mile radius of the starting point through to the physical cache.
Now I’m sitting here crying for laughing so hard.
The non-cacher and I have been married for 19 years and we have been together for 23 years.
What about calm? Do you pronounce the “l” or not? I don’t, my wife does. She drives me nuts every time she says it that way.
I don’t know by what definition of waterfall one is going by, but I remember Cedar Falls from my childhood. It was off of Cedar Falls road SW of Hazelhurst, just up river from the Willow Flowage. During high water it seemed to be a very fast moving rapids, but during lower water periods it was more of a small falls. Of course this is coming from one who hasn’t seen it in 25-30 years.
If interested, maybe try contacting a cache owner. I saw a handful of caches just south of the mentioned place. Looking at a map, it would be just NW of Skunk lake.
Going out to a 10 mile radius from my house, there are a total of 791 caches, with 253 left to find.
