From what I had seen on the news last night, Brent should be thinking that he should have stayed retired.

A number of years ago, I walked into a Sears store at a now defunct shopping mall, and the day after Labor Day, they had Christmas decorations up already. That was when I realized just how commercial the holidays had become.

How did you download the caches? And what type of GPS units were you using?

I’ve got a 60csx and the caches were downloaded the night before at the meet and greet event. Mine didn’t have the 09 codes either.

There was a rogue “guy in the hall” downloading stuff on Friday night. We can’t be responsible for anything that guy was doing… apparently (from what we can deduce) he was using smart names and also giving people the cache information from 2008? While this person was trying to be helpful, it really just caused more confusion and we had to “fix” (redownload) a number of people on Saturday morning.

I had my 60cx loaded at the preba$h as well and had no 09#s. I heard about the “rogue” afterwards and it wasn’t him.

WTG Dean and Roxy. I know that you had this challenge in your sights for some time.

I heard some guy went nuts at the cache bash and started ramming cars. Is that true?

No, it was not true. If it were, it would have been all over the forums.

I have had mine on my truck for almost a year and a half, and have never had a retrieval, only discoveries. All discoveries were at events except for the one from my son, and one from a guy at work.

Thank you and great job to all those who donated most of their weekend so that we could frolic in the bushes.

You weren’t watching me frolic, were you LB7?

Well, now that we have the 2009 Cache Bash behind us, I would like to pose the same question? How can we please you? ❓

We pretty much did everything requested (I think!) so what would you like to see next year???

Well Laurel, I mentioned it to you before the raffle, and I mentioned it to Tami at the post event, that it would be nice to have what is downloaded to the gps and what is listed in the booklet to correspond so we don’t have to cross reference the cache names and cache numbers.

That’s all I got for now.

At least I made it through 6 logs. Now the dang server is too busy.

A ford something. It was a loaner until I bought an 86 buick century in 1992.

I’ll never drive a ford again. I would rather push a chevy than drive a ford.

Current car is a 98 buick century. I will drive GM cars only.

All my Fords treated me very well. They must not like you Todd. They can probably sense your dislike of them.

    Welcome to the WGA.
