Orders for the Wisconsin coins are taken before they are minted. Your best bet is to find someone who bought extras and is willing to sell one. It might be possible that the WGA might have an extra couple in their possession..

I’ve started a “KFC in the Valley” bookmark.
…not everyone knows what KFC means. They might think it’s a list of caches behind chicken shops… 😉
The first time I saw this while caching was right about lunch time, so I figured, what perfect timing. A quick cache and in for lunch. I got out to the cache site and couldn’t figure out where the KFC was. In fact there was nothing around. Just a park. That was a big disappointment when I was so hungry.

And then some…I think I will make it required reading for my kids….
Something needs to happen to that. Letters to the editor, a column in local or regional outdoors magazines, a news spot… That is about the most thought out expression of the value of geocaching whether you have kids in tow or not. Don’t forget that all of those experiences left their marks on their parents as well!
At the very least, it needs to finds it’s way into a “sticky” post on the top of a new forum of some sort with a title “What I learned today while geocaching”
Exceptional log and I guarantee I’ll be sharing it and re-reading it myself many times over.
I have to agree with S|S on this one. I think when someone asks me why I like to cache, I’ll just have to give them a link.
That is quite possible. When my son opened his own account, he went and claimed a bunch of caches that we had found together. I asked a fellow cacher for advice on this and she said something to the effect of, “I just opened my own caching account and am claiming this cache as a find because I found it with my dad under his account”, when you log it. I even had him state or email, I forget which, that if the owner would rather not allow this, that he would delete his log.
Give me back that Fillet-O=Fish, give me that fish…

I ‘m not going to make a list, but if anyone ever comes to the Sussex/Lisbon area in Waukesha County I have about 40 family friendly hides there. Four of them are in the Puzzles for Kids series that use playground equipment to determine final coosdinates. This will give the kids some playground time in between caches and hopefully you’ll be able to get them to stay at it a little longer as a result. Our grandchildren got us into geocaching 2-1/2 years ago so our hides for the most part are to be family friendly. Always feel free to e-mail me for recommendations.
I still have a DNF on one of your KFC hides that I have to rectify. It should be easy for me. I am a little kid at heart.

My most recent pet peeve (usually re-occurs this time of year) is drivers that feel the need to share their choice of music with the world. When I have the windows of the burb up and the air conditioning on and I can “feel” the car next to me because the bass is cranked…well…it just makes me cranky…you wouldn’t like me when I’m cranky…but that’s a whole ‘nother list!
Are you sure you’re not from Milwaukee? Wait, is it rap?
WRG on #1500!
Nice job Zoebro.
Somebody has been out caching A LOT lately. Congrats on #1000!
WTG on #3200 Justin.
I’ve thought about that one myself. Congratulations.

am extremely peeved when a cacher types only “tftc” in their log.
I’m glad I post with “TFTH”. Actually, I normally end my posts with that.
I’ve seen a number of cachers use the clipboard idea in tandem with the chartreuse road worker vests that one can buy at Fleet/Farm. In fact I’ve had people ask me what kind of work “we” were going to be doing in the park, just because I had a clipboard and was standing next to a tree that had some surveyors tape tied to it.
