Camera is offline for now. Saw some definite smallies this morning. I hope they have this going for a while. I think it would pretty neat when the sturgeon are running. I would be cool to see some cats too.

I’ve thought of somehow doing Haunted Wisconsin as well. The storyteller in me, maybe. I figured the weirdness ones were more tangible, though.

Hey gotta run, one of your caches made the list, and no, I did not know about the letterbox in Poiniatowski.

What’s scaring me is how many of these caches we’ve already done. There are a couple where I was oh so close, too. If only I’d known! LOL

The southeastern part of the state seems to be lacking any weird stuff. I have one near Monches, but not much else. There are things in the book, but they are either intangibles, like weird town celebrations, or private locations that don’t lend themselves to a cache placement.

Maybe the other books will have something, but you guys over there, if you know of something cool and weird, either with or without a cache, let me know. I figure I can include “cache possiblities” like Ralph did with his unique natural features, and maybe folks will be encouraged to place some.

I *know* at some point, many years back, I was driving up toward Three Lakes on some alternate route, and I saw a huge badger. Anyone know where that is? Or maybe it was the aftereffects of too many Blue Bullets the night before. Pointer alumni will understand! 🙄

I think a Haunted Wisconsin would be cool. Especially after reading the book.

The Badger is on northbound 45. I think it is between Birnamwood and Antigo. It is a former gas station turned strip joint. Also on northbound 45 is a giant lumberjack(?) that appears to be holding a turtle. I believe that is between Clintonville and Wittenberg.

One other cache that I can think of is the new Bronz Fonz in downtown Milwaukee. I don’t have the GC number handy, but I believe that the owner is Uncle_Fun.

Haven’t seen wallys since this morning. Hard to tell what has been going by lately. I’m thinking sheepshead.

I mean really, what’s the hurry?

Maybe someone placed an underwater cache in the river. They’re trying to be FTF. 😀

If you are in the Hartford area, I would have to recommend The Mineshaft. A half block north of hwy. 60 on 83 (the main drag). We have been going there for almost 20 years, and have never had a bad experience there and never left with an empty stomach. I don’t think they take reservations but if you go on Friday nights for a fish fry, go early or you will have to put your name on the waiting list. In the past we’ve been told about an hour wait, but it turns out to be about fifteen minutes. And that is when they are packed. They also have a game room on the second floor. Street parking the front with additional public parking in the back.

Sorry. I don’t have any coordinates. I’ll try to remember to shoot some the next time we’re up there.

    WTG! Keep it up.

3 wallys in less than 2 minutes.

Okay the snow can stop coming anytime now. I am starting to get sick of it.

I didn’t think you ever got sick of it.

On my current pace I should meet that milestone in about 22 years. Congrats.

    Sorry to hear that.

So many doctors don’t think twice about taking drug company kickbacks. It’s obvious that the ones who do, don’t have their patient’s best interest at hand. Not to mention a leading reason why prescription drugs cost so much.

I really hope things work out for you.
