One of my pet peeves is kids and their bass thumping stereo’s.

I agree with that one. The middle of winter, cars driving by 1 block away, and my pictures bouncing around the walls because of thumping bass. That is no exaggeration. A lot of good the new noise laws do when nothing is ever done about it. One day someone might be lurking on that street corner and go all postal. I sure hope it’s not me.

Maybe try baileyhk. I believe that she is originally from the UK. I think she is in the Wausau area.

I was in the shower at the time and never felt or heard a thing.

I might be more impressed if they showed more views from the snowmobile than of it.

The moronic city plow driver that gets his jollies out of plowing a pile of snow four feet high and five feet wide right in front of my mail box. I had to dig it out twice after our last snowfall.

WHY do cut and paste logs occur?

    1. Person had nothing to say.
    2. Person does not want to say anything.
    3. Person is afraid to say anything.
    4. After a cache run of 40-70 in one day, who can remember?

I would opt for 4 being my biggest …. excuse.

Most of my cut and paste logs come at events where so many are found and simply cannot all be remembered. While I do not remember writing any “SL TFTC” only, I have written some that are just as lame. If a cache isn’t special enough to have something stick in one’s head, is it deserving of much more than a TFTC? I’m not putting anybody down for the types of caches they place or how anyone logs them, that’s up to the individual. I can see both sides of the coin. There was a time long before I started caching when I could write some amazing things about nothing, but not anymore. As of I’ve gotten older I’ve become less colorful in some areas and more colorful in others….I’ll try to finish my thoughts later, I need to run.

There’s always open carry. Legal and a good deterrent.

Yes there is, but many departments find ways to harass you anyway. I can do without those headaches.

Yes. I usually have 2-3 weapons with me, however I carry them as tools and they double as weapons if needed. I’m still waiting for concealed carry so i can be legal at all times.

Sounds interesting, but whenever I click on the link, I get “For the safety and privacy of your Facebook account, remember to never enter your password unless you’re on the real Facebook web site. Also be sure to only download software from sites you trust.”

    What gives?

Yeah I just clicked through that..

Ok. Now I feel stupid. I saw the box but I didn’t pay any attention to it thinking that I was going into FB. Thank you.

If one can blow up and enhance a little bit, it looks like the TB number can be had, off of the photo. That would be interesting to see some of our members “discover” the TB. I’m sure someone in here is savvy enough to do that.

I noticed on the Seagull’s web site, that they had rooms w/1 queen size bed, and rooms w/1 queen size bed and a futon (or something to that effect) and both were priced the same. Typo or not, if two people wanted to double up, it would be worth asking about.

My reservations have been made. The gentleman I talked to said that rooms have been starting to move pretty good for that weekend. If one is interested in SeaGull Bay, I would suggest calling soon. He also said the he lives in the woods and has a good three feet of snow on the ground. He also said the trails should be packed real good right now. Looking forward to seeing every one. Rooms also have refrigerators and microwaves.

Might be making ice good now. I just hope the NE winds that are due to come in tonight won’t break any up. At least down here they’re calling for the wind.
