This happens to me even on the WGA site.

labrat_wr, I did change my settings from 20 to 50 and that did help. Not a complete fix, but much better.

I am not all that computer literate to begin with so I thought perhaps things were messed up on my end. I’m glad to see that it’s not me.

I currently don’t go to these lists much at all, but every once in a while I’ll try to check them out. I want to understand this problem a bit more so that I am not quite so frustrated when I would really put these lists to good use. I guess for the time being I’ll take marc’s advice and “just exit and go some place else”. And yes Team Deejay, I’ll also send a complaint.

I have been caching for over 2 years myself and have only met other cachers on the trail about 4 or 5 times. If you want to meet some, hit some events.

What works for me is to have a bunch of other cachers go in first and follow them. Just stay about ten paces behind them. 😀

I have ruined quite a few shirts/jackets myself from those things. The less fuzz the better. I just try to pay attention as I go. I suppose rain gear would work. That would be so God awful hot though, at least it would be for me, not to mention noisey.
