Anyone see the news clip from Lake Delton? Unbelieveable! Houses floating down the river. They said after the ground and, I think they said hwy A, was washed out, Lake Delton dropped by more than 6ft. Never seen anything like it. At least not in Wisconsin.

Last I heard, it’s now gone.

I recieved a pocket query on Sunday if that means anything to you.

29326. As far as I’m concerned, they shouldn’t stop there. Every driving after suspension/revocation needs to be much stiffer. I don’t know the stats, but I’m willing to bet that the majority of those that leave the scene of an accident have had their licenses suspended or revoked.

Thanks DJ. I think we have her figured out.

About five hours round trip. I can accept that. Looks like an interesting area. I can knock off a few counties and DeLorme pages too. I better start saving gas money now.

I wouldn’t mind seeing it at the Kettle Moraine’s northern unit. They have 27,500 acres and camp grounds, lakes and a lot of glacial features. I remain open to other areas as well. I just don’t want to drive 8 hours round trip.

Should look before sending in a topic… Missed the G in gas… if anyone with higher powers here can change that I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks,

Some may be interested in knowing that price as well. 😆

Thank you, TE. That should help out a lot when planning trips or cache runs.

The reality is the only time I felt like I was being stalked by a pervert while geocaching was around a month ago in Estabrook Park (Milwaukee). The guys behavior was eerily similar to what was described by the OP. I mentioned the experience in the logs, so hopefully future seekers are aware.

I know years ago this park and Underwood park were both well known hangouts for homosexuals. I haven’t heard anything different as of late, and assume that they still are.

Welcome to the cult. Have lots of fun.

Congrats to team Zagnut. Sounds like you all had a lot of fun. I wouldn’t mind trying this out next year, but not if sprinting or any kind of running is involved. What was first place prize?

As of a few days ago, gas was going for $.45 in Saudi Arabia. I bet there is almost no fluctuation in prices over there.

There’s a smart car zooming around the Appleton area. Saw it parked the other day.

Gas must be too expensive to even drive one of those around. 🙄
