Welcome. Just beware of the human sacrafices up in your area.
I guess if this keeps happening, I’ll know who to point the finger at.
That simple? Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
Welcome to the cult, er I mean fun Crockett. West Bend will keep you busy for a long time. There are a ton of caches up there. Don’t forget to check out the event page. Big event in WB in August. Have fun!
My wife bought me a Garmin etrex back in the late 90’s. I only used it for deer hunting at the time and would have to pull out the manual every year to learn it all over again. It has served it’s purpose well for me after I started caching. I have passed it on to my son to use for caching. I currently use a Garmin 60Cx. Another great gift from my wife. I love the thing, and it is quite a bit more accurate than my old one.
I hate to say it, but this type of holder just doesn’t interest me at all. Thanks for sharing your product/idea here though.
I have a Garmin Cx and that is what I do. Hit find and then call it up, and then goto. I never really thought about eliminating the extra step. Next time when I’m out using it, I will have to give it a try.
That’s too bad.
Yellow orb? Never seen it. I was mesmerized with this dark color(?) that was attached to my feet. It stretched out away from me and whatever I did, it did. If I jumped up, it would detach from me and still do what I was doing. Talk about being creeped out.
I use mine quite a bit. Rarely do I need both hands though. Sometimes it would be nice. A dash mounted holder would be of more use to me. Maybe you are talking of a dash mount? Handle bar mount? Like HOT TROT asked, would you post a pic? Or maybe email one?

Three Lakes 54562Congrats to mom and dad. I hope that everyone is healthy.
My most memorable cache was actually of a cache that I didn’t find, at least not until a few days later.
It was late afternoon or early evening. The sky was clouding up and it was quickly getting dark. You could smell that rain was on it’s way. One more cache to finish the day I figured. I go into the woods and there is a lot of tree cover. My gps is once again sending me in different directions. I must have had a dozen different gzs in a 5o foot radius. I have never seen so many possible hiding places in such a small area. It’s getting darker and the rain is just starting. I start looking under logs and in hollows. I’m searching quickly so I don’t get caught in a downpour. Now I start stumbling and tripping over everything and fall down. I grab a hold of what looks like a nice sturdy branch to help pull myself up with, then it suddenly breaks. What happened next was not real pretty. I felt a burning sensation on my back. I stop to scratch it and find out that I tore open a bees nest. Little buggers, but they carried big bats. Bigger than a house fly but smaller than a honey bee. Dark and fuzzy. I don’t know what kind they were. Anyway, my shirt comes flying off as I try to keep them away by swinging it around. As I go running from the woods, I’m going through thorns and raspberry canes and two different kinds of burrs. I’m all scratched, stung and bloody running down the middle of the road for my truck. I can only imagine what kind of sight it must have been. Went back a few days later to finally find the cache. Quite nervously I might add.

Hey, the ticks must mean the snow is finally melting …
I’m glad that it is not a common thing but we have picked ticks off of the dogs all year long. Even during the cold stretches of mid-winter.
I hope those little blood suckers aren’t as bad as they were last spring.
I’ve gotten all of my plats at the courthouses. Sometimes realty offices will have them, but not to purchase, only to browse.
