Sorry Seldom I meant no offense. I am new to the forum and was not aware I was able to directly contact cachers. This is by far the fastest and most direct way to accomplish what I am after. The way you worded your post I assumed “asking other door county cachers” meant contacting them through the forum which is what I am trying to do here. Labrat’s clearer explanation made me aware of a tool I didn’t know I had at my disposal. However in hindsight you both said similiar things. And your reply, although not initially helpful to me in the beginning, was still appreciated. Please don’t take offense.
Thank you both,

I don’t live anywhere near the area and I also have no contacts in the area. I ‘m afraid I won’t have time when I fly in to go and find caches as I will no doubt have tons of other more pressing wedding arrangements to manage. I also would like to have a cache that will be unused by other cachers as the item I put in there may or may not be of value (i haven’t decided yet). It has been my experience where I cache that the only items that remain are plastic trinkets, and cheap knick-knacks. My event isn’t solely a geocache event either. I only plan on giving each group one cache to find. Its going to be more of a scavenger hunt with answering local trivia questions and findingpurchasing local items the focus. Thank you for your suggestion though.
