    We echo wzbt03’s sentiments.

12 foot falls campground near Peshtigo is one of our favorites. Lots of waterfalls and caches nearby.

Totally feel what you’re trying to express! Geoff and I both go through phases when the bugs get bad during the summer, it’s too hot out or just one of us gets beat that we decide to call it quits for a while. I told Geoff a while back (in our second year) that I was done for good. He went out and did a couple of caches alone, which he’d never done before. I got jealous that he was going out without me and he said it just wasn’t as much fun doing the hunting without me either. We decided that from that point on, that if either one of us decided that we didn’t want to cache for any extended period of time, that we’d wait it out. The bad thing about caching together as a constant, is that we both have different drives at different times. Sometimes I’ll push him harder than he’d like. You’ll see our numbers drop significantly during the summer. I hate hot weather and really enjoy doing the festivals, going to the zoo, camping and lots of other time-consuming activities that you just can’t do during the winter. Caching in the fall and winter for us is perfect because we don’t have kids either. Don’t worry, it’ll pass.

I highly recommend covert cache. The place is quite interesting and the food is good. I hope you know the password to get in.

I was working on a project at the computer. I thought Geoff fell out of bed but he was still snoring so it wasn’t him. I didn’t find out until the next day what had happened. It was the second earthquake I’ve been in.

Cathunter is right, that it’s ultimately the cache owner’s decision. But, as a rule of thumb, if there is a separate log for each of the stages, it can be logged as three different finds…

Whitnallgps is correct in that we are not talking about personal travel bugs. We do not care how teams log travel bugs, we were just wondering if it is a common practice to log a bug without actually taking it.

Hey Beast do you think I can fit in one of your suitcases? It has been to long since we have been there.

I agree with you Jeff. I also think that caches should be removed after some time. The cache that started this forum was one we found right after it was placed and we can not believe it lasted this long. I gave it 1 month before it would disappear. There are a lot of caches out there that may be in good shape, but I think they should be removed for new caches in the same park. There is only so much green. I know some people who have good ideas for new caches but can not find a place to put them that is not a 40 minute drive from home.Okay I feel better now. This is only the thoughts of 1 dumb lectrician.

We are mostly weekend only.We also dont cache much in the summer because of the heat and the bugs.
