Yes, I will admit that we have been doing some traveling to get these caches as they are published. We are waiting for all of the NW caches to publish before we head up that way though. It seems like it will make a nice trip once they are all published. To this point we have found 28, which includes the two that we have placed. This has been a fun series and we absolutely enjoy our state parks.
Just a couple more in the northwest will make a nice road trip!
Congratulations on 3900!
Mirror Lake is an excellent choice. The ranger there was excellent to work with when I put the WGA State Park cache there and undoubtedly will fully support the outing. She is excited about geocaching and will be excited to see more to come.
Congratulations on your 2700th smiley, and at a great location to boot!
While we are on the topic…Rocky Arbor State Park and Mirror Lake State Park are published and ready for your geocaching pleasure.
I took a day of vacation and got my tasks completed at both Mirror Lake and Rocky Arbor State Parks. Both are awaiting review and hopefully will be good to go. The park ranger (same for both parks) was an absolute gem to work with. We talked for about a half-hour today and she gave me many ideas about what she thinks would be some great cache placements in the park. That will be next on my radar I guess.

Minnesota just edges out Iowa.
Mine came today. Placed order on the 3rd and arrived on the 9th. Pretty cool coin. Now to think of what that “one in a million” photo will be to win that ounce of gold! 😆
Congratulations on the big 3K!
Congratulations Rod! The Great Wall virtual was a great cache that I just did myself this past weekend so that I could qualify for the Roadside Weirdness challenge. Fun cache with lots of other neat things to look at.
I want to thank everyone who have sent me messages through gc.com, e-mail, etc. The support I have as I fight hard against lymphoma is both overwhelming and crucial. The geocaching community is still an important part of my life even though I have more recently focused on other things. I hope to be able to see many of you again in the near future. I will have to watch the events and see if I can’t make it to one on a day when my strength allows it. In the meantime keep on cachin’ and stay safe!

Great job to whomever was involved with this project. Everything looks great!
Amazingly it all flows smoothly on both my TRS-80 and my Commodore VIC-20. I have backed everything up on the 5.25″ floppy and I’m ready to roll! 😆
I was just short of three months between actual caches from November to February. There were two events in there, with it being about 5-6 weeks from the last cache to the first event.
As always it was great to see you this past weekend as you were fresh off your 10K find. Congratulations again on this mindboggling accomplishment….and here’s to 10K more! 😀
