You get paid to write for an online paid membership site. As a way for the customers (readers) to get to know the authors, they link to your home page. Your home page includes your blog and related activities, which can reflect postively or negatively toward your members at the site where you write. Therfore since a=b, and b=c; c must = a.

Co-conspirator to make the world a better place…Let me play “Devil’s Advocate” for a moment. A couple of people see some information about caching. They decide to give it a try. They find that they rather enjoy it and begin to do it more often. They come up with a way to rate what they see/do/find that they enjoy. While those of us who have been doing this for a while, and have seen the good, bad and ugly of the sport may find this offensive…I have to wonder, have any of those who have criticized them bothered to shoot them an email and ask what’s going on? Other than the request made by Uncle_Fun, has anyone asked them to do anything about their logs or photos? Has anyone bothered to find out where they heard about Geocaching and who, if anyone, parented this couple? Perhaps they are doing what someone did before them. All of this seems like a personal attack and we at the WGA don’t do that, right? I for one plan to send them an email and see how they’re doing…who knows after that!
I agree, here (except for the unecessarily snide rhetorical question at the end). Obviously these folks may not understand that thier comments and pictures are offending other cachers. It has happened to me that rather revealing commments have been made in logs that jeopardized the integrity of the hide. Each time it was by an inexperienced cacher. We need to be proactive and reach out to mentor these folks. All it takes is one email.
That said, I am looking forward to seeing their first hide.

Found It’s count and Attended (events) will count on your tally but not notes.
Benchmarks don’t count either.

The folks with the laptops in charge of d’loads will have a better idea of what we’ll need; but I’d imagine we’d be taking you up on the offer for the cable. Thanks. We may need to play with it a bit before hand to make sure we can get it to work with the laptops and systems we’ve got as I’ve read some folks have had issues with the USB aspect of it.

I would imagine the new message boards would have features like this… I’ll see if I can find out.

I look at these boards as a geocache — if you take something, leave something of similar or better value. Don’t leave trash, and please no dangerous objects!
That is the single most intelligent sentence I’ve seen written on these boards in a long time!
