Also a big, big Thank You to House of Brew for putting together all the stats and including the series on the stats pages.
Check this out!

Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…All 28 Submarine Caches and the Final prize cache are active.
There is currently one person who has completed the series and is working on the final. Way to Go, really I’m not lost.
Come check out the series!

Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…The storm sirens are wailing… WeatherBug says a Tornado has touched down 7 miles from you… there’s hail hitting the windows… and you just have to get those last couple of logs into the computer before you take the kids into the basement.

Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…I would love to be able to participate more; however the location of the caches are usually near major metropolitan areas. Manitowoc, WI doesn’t really fit that pattern. Heck, I’d be surprised if Milwaukee got one. However Minneapolis did!
btw, Two more case files are out. Looks like Seattle and San Fran…

Vote People!
If you don’t know which one to vote for, vote for mine! I can’t vote for it so I might as well start asking others to.
If you don’t want to vote for mine then vote for somebodies.Goodness, I’d hate to have a tie COTM with a whopping 5 votes for each!

Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…Agreement w/t&tb. I meant no ill will to anyone. The comment made was simply an observation and gentle request. If you want painful forums, visit the forums at gc.com. I had to stop viewing those or I’d have quit geocaching!
I am certainly not unappreciative of anyones efforts. In fact I am very appreciative of Brew’s replacement for this sites loss. I also realize that the recent logs page’s stagnancy is because of no fault of anyone in this organization.
Fix it if you can. If not, go geochaching! No big deal!
and a special note of tribute to Troll’s Secret Diary for being the last logged cache in Wisconsin…
ok, I’ll stop.

I am more than willing to help hide temps or anything else that needs to be done… Let me know!

Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…I’ve just placed one of my SubSeries caches near an area maintained by the DNR that has specified canoe lock-up areas. I thought the idea very interesting too. I would suggest that if you were to do this…
1) It would have to be a remote enough location that only serious, honest outdoorsfolks would come across it.
2) You should include Personal Flotation Devices (Lifejackets) as well as oars.
3) Life jackets and oars placed at a different location would prevent the accidental tourist from joy-riding and would make the canoe a less attractive target for anyone inclined to mischief.I would truly like to see more caches like this that would give cachers a chance to get places easily accessible otherwise. The dangers of liablility, potential misuse, and cacher stupidity exist. This cache in Hawaii has an extensive disclaimer on it because of some potential risks. Just some thoughts and ideas. I hope you can figure this one out!
I was going to make the final of my Submarine series a Canoe or Boat accessible cache but have since decided against it. It is too cool to limit its exposure.
Good Luck!
