Just a question, but why is the campout held in May? Doesn’t that get a bit busy with school still in session? I’m sure there have been discussions regarding holding the campout later in the summer. I’m just curious about the reasoning.

Oh, and I will probably be attending the January Thaw (in my neck of the woods) and possibly the Campout (more info is needed, yet!)

That’s a great document! It wouldn’t be a bad idea to print a couple off and carry them with when we go geocaching. If someone showed some serious interest that would answer just about any question they had and point them in the right direction.

One thing I did notice is that under the section “Things to not put in caches” you forgot to explicitly mention that food is (for the most part) a no-no. Great effort! Have fun teaching!

Well I would just like to publicly thank Trudy for what she did for me. She sent me an e-mail. Yup a simple e-mail Thanking me for my interest, noting some of my dificulties, encouraging me to keep on keepin’ on and sending me to the WGA site. That’s all it took and now I’m hooked. It really is a great find to have people from an organization reach out to those of us on the fringes, just getting our feet wet and say “Hey, come on in! Welcome! My name is…” Thanks Trudy and I hope to meet more of you in the forums and in the woods of WI!
