For safety, the DOT doesn’t allow anyone under eleven to help. (Though I can’t imagine wanting to bring any little person that young along…)

This weekend I found a cache that had somehow been destroyed and had its contents scattered all over the area. In the cache was a yellow Jeep TB. The jeep is missing its tag though and I wasn’t able to find it anywhere. The person that placed it in the cache wrote its tracking number in the paper log and I was able to log on-line that I found it. What should I do now? I think I’m going to put it in a baggie with a note that includes the tracking number. Any other suggestions?

Contact me through my Contact Page at WayTags.com with the info you’d like on the tag including the tracking number. I will gladly supply an engraved replacement tag free of charge.

I vote for hwy 10 in winnebago county. Nice short hike that even I may be able to finish, at least one side of it.

Sorry, I missed that one… Apparently that one is on 441, a four lane road that they won’t give out. My Bad!

    There are other shorter sections…

    OK here’s the deal.

I’ll take the first three suggestions from three different people.

We need to choose. If no one comes up with anything by Tuesday evening I will pick them myself. (Help keep Manitowoc County Clean! 😆 )

    Fire away!

in reply to: curios about magellan help #1873466

I have dealt with Magellan’s Customer Service on a couple of occasions.

The key is getting past “Rita” from India and getting through to someone who can actually help you. But then again, this is true of any Customer Service Department for any product.

I have had successful phone calls and speedy product repairs.

While I can’t say their service is superior, I can’t say it is terrible either. I’d give them a “6 out of 10” overall.

Now, when it comes to what really matters like holding a signal in heavy woods… there’s still no question. Magellan all the way!

I own five Magellans and have no reason to go looking elsewhere.

in reply to: What does this mean? re: geocaching listing #1873437

See This Thread regarding the new “Wisconsin Spirit Quest” designation for all cemetery caches. This is a new voluntary initiative by those who’ve hidden cemetery caches to easily designate them as such.

I like the idea myself, as I can then easily ignore them if need be… not because I don’t necessarily like them, but because I don’t feel I’m being respectful with three or four kids running around wanting to play.

I see marc12345 has already changed his personal WCC designation over to the WSQ designation.

Awww…. I thought I had posted the scaled down list!

OK, Here they are again. The colors in front of the available sections are to distinguish the different counties each are in. Sorry, for the cruddy quality and huge size, I’ve given up trying to make this a user friendly list… 😳 Also, I had to physically cut and paste the parts together to make this handy list; then re-scan everything.

This is the full list of available segments for the more centrally located NE Region Counties.

Please feel free to make suggestions and we will vote quite quickly to get this thing rolling!

    Thanks for you patience.

    Our prayers are with you.

You are correct, this simple test saved my father’s life.

My father has always been the healthiest person around. He would never miss a day of work and had saved up so many “sick” days at work through the years, the owners of the company told him he had to start using them up or he’d lose them!

Then he had the elevated PSA in October, 2005. The following biopsy showed 3 of 10 sample were cancerous. He underwent prostate removal surgery in January, 2006 and over a year later, his follow-up PSA tests have all shown no sign of recurrence.

I wish you the best of luck as there is still a ways to go toward a full recovery. Keep your spirits high!

Oh, my dad was 53 when he was diagnosed with cancer. And I will be getting my first PSA in another three years when I’m 35.

    Done.

    in reply to: 99 ammo cans…. #1873050

94 ammo cans hidden in the rocks, if one of the cans should be crunched, munched and scrunched then…….

technically there would still be 94 ammo cans, one of which would be quite unuseable…. but for the purposes of this thread….

    93 😀
