Wooden, you are spot on. I’m a simple man and sometimes things just get so complicated. KISS works for me.
Ummm . . .OK. And the logo? Yikes.
Not unreasonable? Balderdash! The fear-mongers and PC Police better stay on the other side of the pond. We should never concede to a few nanny-state safety nazis. C’mon! This sport is about the ammo can and a GPSr. I’m going on record as of right now saying if they ban the can in Badgerland . . .(I hate to say it) I’m through. Not unreasonable? Tupperware my eye.
So I guess nobody wants to change the logo but we agree the sport has changed (at least the dominant container type). Makes me wonder what will sport be like 5 years from now . . .
Your question contains the answer: I hunt cache to get out of it (the house).
I’ve got to plug Breakneck. The area is awesome, and just look at the hide date! It’s got to be the sentimental favorite. Vote now!
Steve; Do not, repeat, do not take off work to do this. We’re just a rag tag group (12 kids) of middle schoolers. This is a class I threw together to get kids interested in geocaching. They have an innate curiosity about anything technological and GPS is a new toy for them. The 1st week of class we learned about GPS use and geocaching.com (plus a bunch of related internet sites like the WIGA’s). The next 2 weeks of the class we hid a cache (see Ditch Niche Cache) and will be looking for caches. That’s basically it. I just thought that if anyone was in the area and wanted to say hi . . .
Yup; it’s about 3-D internet using the www and GPS. The future looks great!
