I’m guilty of that, goirish. Not in a snide way but in a casual way. In other words – not much of a story to tell. And I fell like saying “Found this one pretty quick” is better than saying “Not much of a story to tell here”

    know what I mean 🙂

I was up in Sweetlife’s neck of the woods a couple weeks ago and drove on County Hwy W for a while. The nuvi kept calling it “County Road West.” It confused me at first, because I was driving east. 😆

Ditto for me. The other day we were driving through miladore to ;ittle chicago. cty. rd. S was County Road South and N was North of course. However, Cty Rd NN is “ennen” like – rhymes with Mennen.

When I used a palm for paperless I used GSAK to print “Condensed HTML” to a PDF document, then had a PDF reader on the palm. When I synched the Palm with the PC, it copied the file from the PC to the palm, of course, the PDF had to be in a certain folder and that’s only 1 of 100 ways to do it probably.

Assuming he’s using the same “method” to read the information on the palm as when he had the old PC, then I think the answer may lie in getting the new PC ready to sync with the Palm. This usually just involves installing the Palm software. Does the palm cradle connect with Serial or USB to the computer? If it uses serial, then the new PC probably does not have a serial connection, in which case you can get a serial to USB adaptor. When you connect this to the computer it creates something that the computer THINKS is a serial port. This should allow the Palm software to identify the virtual serial port and sync through that.

Am I scratching anywhere close to where you’re itching?

PS – Seth, you’re “Featured” on the cache page so I hope to see you guys there 🙂

Well, I submitted the cache page for the event 🙂

June 4th (Flash Mob Day) @ 2:00 at the Biggby’s in Rib Mountian (Not the one on bridge streetin Wausau). They have a private room there with a TV and everything.

I liked the photo scav. idea but wanted to keep the event about geocaching, not just a random photo thing. So I made a “bingo” game and (on the cache page) listed the items that will be in the grid. They are things you would normally see geocaching. You will get the actual grid at the event and be able to check the boxes off as we look through the pictures you’ve taken.

We’ll also have a time to show and tell general photos that people want to share and tell about.

And I hear a rumor that a Flash Mob event is in the works for Wausau that day 😉

I think it will be a fun time and look forward to seeing many cachers again 🙂

When the event gets published I’ll submit it here to be listed and make a note here in the forum.

    Thanks, everybody 🙂
