It wants to charge $5 shipping for 1 coin. Is that correct?
Is the minter (is that really a word?) shipping directly to the buyer or is a WGA member receiving then distributing the coins?
Thanks 🙂

Hmm… I’m having a strange feeling of deja vu here.…
I hear the faint echo of an exited Zuma exclaiming the chant….
But as fast as they appeared, they vanished again…. Wow. Didn’t see that coming! 🙄
Don’t get a mini unless you want to overpay for constant maintenance and repair. The 06 Accord looks like a good pick to me. but if you don’t need space the Civic is good too.
Why didn’t I see a Honda Fit on your list?
If micro containers were waterproof we wouldn’t need the baggies. Yes, I know… I have one that is not waterproof. 🙄 😉
I think the date sounds great. I’ts good to be consistent. There will ALWAYS be SOMETHING going on that conflicts so the 18th sounds as good as any. Got it on the calendar and hope to make it! I too have some more work to do in that park 🙂 Didn’t even get to climb the mound last time so gotta go back for that right? 🙂
05/17/2010 at 10:03 pm in reply to: Mapping a series that spans a few miles, Can it be done? #1929184You can create a pocket query with a bookmark list as well.
Create a new bookmark (“My Series”).
Then visit the detail page of each cache you want on the map and click “bookmark listing” in the upper right menu (near where the “log your visit” menu option is).
Select the bookmark you just created and clikc ok/add whatever.
Repeat this for each cache you want on your map.
When you’re done with that part, click “Your Profile” in the main site menu on the left.
Somehere along the right side of your profile page (Under “Premium Featuers”) is “Manage Bookmarks” Click that… yes you have to be a premium member to do this.
Find your bookmark listing for the series (“My Series”) in the list and click “Create Pocket Query”. Click “Submit Information”
Now you can preview the pocket query and it will show only the bookmarked caches on the map just like on the normal map search page.
FANTASTIC! Congratulations! What a great milestone! and sounds like a worthy adventure to boot 🙂 Well done!
Gotchya! Thanks, cheeto 🙂 Sounds reasonable.
Do you have a wireless phone in your house in the 2ghz range? That would interfere with wireless G and B (I think). If this is the problem, even moving the router will not help much.
as long as your laptop supports wireless N, get wireless N. Better bandwidth, less prone to interference. Linksys is a brand that I use and am comfortable with but can be more difficult to setup if you’re not of the teckie persuasion. Netgear, airports, all good.
Glorkar makes a good point – even weaker signals – if they have the priority (new connections sometimes get the priority – thank you microsoft) will connect even when a stronger signal is available.
I use a linksys G and am satisfied with it – I have noticed that the quality of the receiver has ALOT to do with my connection. Using different receivers on the same computer in the same location in the house has yeilded very different results. The best result I get on the laptop is with a Linksys PCMCIA (yeah, old I know) and a PCI card on the desktop. Using these receivers, the wireless phone no longer interferes.
You can also change the channel on the router which might help with interference.
But I agree with neonride. G should be sufficient for what you’re trying to do. I can stream video on one computer and surf on another without any lag.
Even though your laptop receives a good signal in other wifi spots, there may be something in your house (other than your router) that is always going to give you grief with G. If tweaking the router settings and location doesn’t help, go with N. But also consider a better card for the laptiop. Some of the internal receivers are not very good quality.
PS – you can make a very good directional antennae with a pringles can and a USB receiver. Not kidding.
http://binarywolf.com/249/This is the design I voted for and like it alot.
I have a question though – I was under the impression that we were not voting on the FINAL design but more the general concept. For example, the front I think is really nice and the choice of images is good – I would like to see that used as is – but I’d like to consider changing the tagline on the back -“Tracking down another cache” seems a little hoakey to me. It does go nicely with the tracks obviously. The tracks are cool but the tagline – well, do we need a tagline at all? I think it would look cool with just the tracks. (Need to add some hoof-prints though) just kidding.
So item 1 – is this the FINAL or do we get to refine it – again, I thought this was supposed to be an approval of the concept
item 2 – what opinions on the back do others have?
The 300 is pretty basic. I’m not even sure if you can load waypoints on it. The map storage is only 10MB internal memory. I have the 400 which has alot of features the 300 doesn’t. See http://www.magellangps.com/ProductFinder/comparison_results.asp?seg=425 for a quick comparison.
The explorist GC actually looks promising but I havent’ researched it enough yet to know for sure.
But sad to say – the 300 probably isn’t going to be your new geocaching buddy. 🙁
The description certainly is interesting and creative 🙂 Will have to put this on the list of to-dos when we are there in July 🙂
Just noticed this thread – Thanks everybody 🙂
Mucho Cool! That will do the trick! Thanks again!
Ahhh… That looks cool… now to play with it to figure out how it works 😉 Thanks, Brian 🙂
