I only have two. I just received the Kentucky State notification this morning. If they are giving them away retroactively now, I will just have to wait for the other six states that I have finds in.
Not a big deal to me.

Much better than marking the side of the boat! 😀
Did some of the strip last year. Mostly virtuals, but there are a few micros not that far off.
Have fun!
Sorry, I hadn’t heard of that model before. Those mounts won’twork with my Legend.
Thanks,
For what model Garmin? I might be interested in either the suction or the bean bag.
Considering that most caches containers really don’t seal well and will hopefully be opened several times I would think that the silica would lose effectiveness quickly. How do you measure the effectiveness and if it needs to be replaced?
I recently found a pill bottle cache with a small silica canister glued to the lid. I didn’t really think to much about it at the time, but I wouldn’t even worry about it when I hide a cache.
Welcome, I’m also in the Kenosha area. There are a lot of active cachers here that are very friendly and helpful. Check out the local Kenosha geocaching forums at http://www.ikrug.com/ and drop in for coffee on Thursday mornings at The Daily Dose on the corner of 40th ave and 60th street.
Welcome. Nice to see another Kenosha cacher join. Be sure to check out the local geocaching site at ikrug.com.
Known my wife for 26 years and just had our 22nd anniversary last weekend but wont be able to celebrate until next weekend. Graduation party took precedence.
I have only been keeping track of a 5 mile radius. I used to have only 3 unfound but we recently moved 3 miles south and now I have 19. Not all of them in Wisconsin.
Now you can own your own collection of BakRdz Geocaching Tee Shirts. One for every day of the month so laundry is never a problem!
Keep them coming, I’d buy if they were available!
I spent the last week moving into a new house. On the first day I took the dog across the street to do his business and a half hour later I found a tick crawling up my leg. The day after that my son took the dog for a walk and later found a tick attached to his leg and my daughter found another attached to the dogs ear.
Two days in the new house and three ticks!! So far that has been all.

I remember riding in the back window on longer trips. Hey, it was comfy and I wanted a nap.
I hear ya! With my three siblings on a ride the package shelf in the back window was a good place to stretch out.
Not really a strange find, but a strange place to find it.
We were caching at Bong Recreation area and my wife spotted a camoed container sitting on a log next to the trail. She opened it up and it was a cache. I checked the coordinates for it and it was well over .3 miles from where it was supposed to be. Since we were headed in that direction anyway we took it with us and returned it to as close to it’s hiding place as we could.
Actually did this two weeks ago in Racine. I had found the first of the two clue caches and was making my way along towards the second while exploring possible hide spots. I came to a tree that looked like a good hiding spot and there was the final under a few stones. It was already getting a little late so I signed the log and went home. I do plan on getting to the other clue cache sometime.
