It was one of those one day special deals.

I think the best time is actually spring and fall. Once the snow is gone, we appreciate not having to deal with bugs or a thick tree canopy (which affects gps reception). Temperatures are moderate and life just seems less hectic than in the summer months.
Not to mention that it’s dark under there! 😯

Cool, the WAP back door is still functioning too.
I like the upgrade. So far no problems. I also like seeing my avatar when I get to my home page.
for those unfamiliar with this, this means…………?
You have to know the secret knock & handshake to access the secret back door.(Which I do know 😉 )
Are you willing to share?
Almost happened to me once. I had put it down next to my backpack while I was packing up and got about 25 feet away and realized I couldn’t get to the next cache without it.
Even StarWarsGuy doesn’t have enough of the force to find a cache without a GPS. 😀

is it possible that the legendary rogheff might have 2 or 3 of these laying around? possibly some partials to build one of each? (take two and make one kinda thing)Probably but they are hidden deep in the woods and the one part that will make them work is in a pill bottle in a crotch of a tree somewhere else.

Make sure you plug the USB converter into the computer befoare attaching the GPS to it. Since I started doing that I have had no problems with communicating to my Legend.
I read some place that you have to plug in the usb to serial adapter to the computer and then plug the GPS into the adapter.
It has worked better for me that way the last few times I have uploaded to my ETrex.
My wife was talking to her brother in Tennessee last night and it is still $3.65 down there.
Must be that clean country living.
I was talking to flydad a couple months ago and he ran into one of these with a magnet on it in a knot hole of a pine tree.
Had to bring your own nail to get it out of the hole.
For those of us who do not have a GC membership to get those highly sought after FTF numbers the other sites are very helpful.
I just got my first FTF from the terracaching site (TC9BL) two weeks ago. Had to travel almost 4200 miles to get it

Does that go

I am also looking to either change careers or move to a different area of the company. Information Technology can be a very difficult area some times.

And the first cycle comes to a close with a final push today.
Couple questions:
Are you going to add a Winner’s page?
When will the list be updated?Where will the list be posted?
If posted on GC will it be available to non-premium members?@zuma wrote:
Maybe they can make a video of the place, and we can watch it from the sofa with a bag of munchies….Yeah, that would be a lot safer.

Can I claim it now that I have seen the pictures?

Can someone tell me please, what is the easiest way to delete ALL waypoints from a gps, other than deleting them one by one? I have a Garmin Etrex Ledgend. I keep downloading more to GPS, but now I want to clean it up and get rid of all the ones I don’t need. 😕
I know that there are a couple of ways to do this but I don’t have it in front of me right now. I like to use the delete by icon/type(?) that way I can delete found caches and leave the not found and other waypoints for later.
