10. No cameras, photography or other recording devices are permitted to be used on

Bimmer is a no-go. The miles were low, but the interior definitely showed it’s age. The Civic was nice. Clean inside and out and comfortable to boot. The only downside I found was that the headrests were not very comfy, but how often do they get used, right? I guess it depends on how the other two contenders fare this weekend.
I’ll admit, some of those G6s aren’t bad looking, but I think I want to try something different this time around. The last two cars were Pontiacs (Grand Prix and Bonneville.) Plus, like you said, those things are all over the place! They (along with the cobalts) will become what the cavalier is now 😕
Updated list:
2000 BMW 328i
2008 Mazda Mazda6 sedan (about 6 different ones w/varying trim levels)
2008 Saturn Astra XR (same as Opel Astra in Europe)
2006 Honda Civic EXDecided to bump up my budget ($11-13k.) What’s another $25/month, right?
Gonna test drive the Honda and the Bimmer tonight. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Price is the big factor. These were the best of the bunch under $10k.
FWIW, we have not had any problems with our current MINI except the drain tubes for the sunroof disconnecting. Other than that, we have had nothing but good luck.

this subject has probably been beat to death already, but i don’t have time to search the archives. how does one go about handling a cacher that you know for sure is logging smileys on caches that you know they haven’t found? do you let it go? do you delete their entries? just wondering.
Honestly, I think I would just leave it. Sure, it would bother me, but if that’s the way they want to play, well, then I guess it’s on their conscience. It really defeats the whole purpose of caching, but I suppose some people really are in it for the numbers.
The only time I think I would go through the process of deleting the log would be if the hide was really difficult and had a low number of finds logged. Random smileys may make it seem easier than it really is.On a related note, are you positive they haven’t found the cache. A lot of people sign the paper log with a different name than their GC user name.

Cant drive stick?? A weekend will take car of that! Minis ROCK!!!!!
That’s why her daily driver is an ’06 MINI Cooper S w/6 speed auto 😀
Thanks for all of the input. My thoughts so far:
The Monte and the Colorado I was never too sure of, but I put them on the list for some variety.
The Bimmer would be nice, but you’re right, they can be pricey to fix.
Don’t really like Nissan. They’ve just felt ‘cheap’ after the mid 90’s. Never liked Mopar (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep.) They seem to have more problems than other brands. A Jeep wouldn’t be bad, but I don’t really want anything that big.
Toyota might be okay, same thing as a Lexus without the price tag.
More than likely it will be a Honda over the Mazda, but we’ll see. I’ll have to do some test driving this weekend 😈Way to go on 2000!
😯 7000? Holy crap! Way to go guys. I’m sure I’ll be old and gray before I get that many 😀
Congrats on the 200! I know exactly how you feel 🙂
Way to go!
I can’t recall where I first heard about it, but I started doing it last year. A coworker of mine had mentioned it and asked if I wanted to tag along. I didn’t really have anything else to do, so I agreed. It was a lot of fun. I actually ended up borrowing one of his older GPS units for about a month before I realized I was going to keep caching and bought it off of him.
