Yikes! Sounds painful. Wish I could help out, but I’m just a little too far north to be any good.
Where are these caches centralized?

Way to go! I’ve still got to get around to those one of these days…
You are looking for trails in Wisconsin, I presume?

I always look at a cache’s log history for red flags with trackables before I drop a trackable in a cache, our own coin or TB or one belonging to someone else, premium cache or not. I have seen some caches with incredible repeat mugglings before owners move or archive such caches.
I’ve actually got a cache that seems to be very muggle prone. I put a warning in very large letters at the top of the page to not put trackables in it. It seemed like the right thing to do.
Great day for a cook out
I honestly think I would just move it along from where you are. Sure, TBs have goals, but the side trips are half the fun imo.
Any pics? I have this crazy idea in my head of what it may look like, but it is probably a million miles away from being correct!
Edit: Nevermind, just did a google search for it and came up golden on the first linky. Great looking coin.

I’ve not used it, but I think you can use GSAK to convert the downloaded file into a format that your PDA can recognize. I haven’t gone paperless yet either. I just write down the coords, D/T ratings, cache size and any hints in a notebook. I look at the logs before I go, just to make sure it should still be there.
You know, you can always just use a ‘normal’ camera too 😀

Nevermind, it’s gone from me again
Oh wait, I remember it now
