Interesting idea. I see they gave one for the West Bend Cache Ba$h. But how do you know where a souvenir zone is?
That’s too funny. I’m not big into FTFs, but I suppose I’d let all of them have it. After all, TJS had no way of knowing that there were two containers there. And the other two found the actual container first. So yeah, let them all bask in the feeling.
Phoon, yes! I was trying to think of the other posing thing all day.
Chances are there just aren’t a lot of cachers in the area to put out caches.
To find a treasure
Worth nothing to so many
Priceless to a fewIf you are just looking for random pre-made coins that have absolutely nothing to do with you but look cool, you can purchase them from a number of coin vendors. I’ve used http://www.geocoinstore.com as well as http://www.geoswag.com. Both sites offer tons of coins for reasonable prices, usually between $6 and $10. The $6 ones are the micro coins, somewhere between a quarter and nickel in size.
Meh. I honestly sort of forgot that I bought one. I just figure it will be a nice surprise when it shows up in the mail. It’s nice to get something other than junk mail and bills once and a while 🙂
I’ve never heard of it, but I know there are a few trackable sites out there. Another one that comes to mind is Geokrety.
Might go another direction with this. What are your thoughts on the Maribel Caves? I know there are only a few nearby caches, but it looks like an interesting park.
You could contact huffinpuffin2. They should have the info as they just found it on the 19th. They frequent these forums and should be pretty easy to get a hold of.
They should update that. It is now the 6th oldest cache. Simply go to the Seek A Cache page and click on Wisconsin in the drop down for search by state. When the cache listings come up, click the double arrow and it will take you to the last page (817) which is the oldest caches.
Found something strange. I typed in an address for Belgium, Wi because I knew it would get me close to K-A and Harrington Beach. Thing is, I misspelled it as Belguim, WI. Took me just south of Ripon and the showed a dot with “Operation Troop freedom May 15th, 2010.” What’s that all about?
LinkyHave you looked at the geocaching.com map for your area? You may be surprise. Chances are, there are already caches hidden in your school forest.
Makes sense on the “No Clue.” All of them in the series are Miss/Mrs/Mr Whatever with the Whatnot.
Isn’t there an alien head by the ET highway?
